Happy Friday, friends, and cheers to the weekend! We’ve got lots of volleyball on the agenda, plus Mr. Sugarplum’s birthday, and maybe even a quick visit from Mr. College! So Fall decorating will have to wait another week!

Today I’ve got an all new Dressing Room Diaries, chock full of the cutest new arrivals for early Fall! It’s a mix of retailers from Nordstrom and Loft to J.Crew Factory and Walmart… but I don’t want you to judge the shirt by its label, so they’re all mixed in! My job is to find the cutest things, at the best prices, and I think you’ll love these!

A fave find in the bunch, this top was an instant ‘YES’ for me! It’s gauzy and light, in the most gorgeous, rich colors for Fall. The neck is stretchy, and the full sleeve gives it a great shape.
The jeans are a new shape, and surprisingly flattering and versatile! Made of a sturdy, traditional denim, they keep everything held in, but have enough stretch to be comfy. The lighter wash pairs well with Fall’s rich colors, and the wide hem is great for sneakers, loafers, slides, and booties.

With the arrival of Fall, we’ll start transitioning from skirts and shorts to denim, and I love a fun fall top with statement details to dress up an otherwise basic combo. This woven top has feminine ruffle details, a pretty floral print, and is fully-lined through the body.

Gingham and plaid never go out of style, and J.Crew does it better than anyone! This shirt is a soft, brushed flannel that’s not heavy or bulky. It’s also cut for a woman, so has a more feminine fit than most.

Can we talk about this pullover?! I don’t think they come any cuter! I’m crazy for the color blocking, and the unexpected mix and colors. It’s thick and warm, in a soft sherpa fleece.

If you don’t own a utility jacket, add this one to your closet! They are one of my favorite layers for everything from jeans to dresses to skirts. This one is a cotton twill, with an elastic waist for a more flattering fit.

If you’re a shacket girl, you’ll love this one! The colors of pink and orange are so fun together, and the plaid is perfect for Fall. It’s a great length, but not bulky. It is a wool blend, so I’d pair it with a long sleeve for a softer fit.

A girl can’t live in denim all Fall, but I might live in this corduroy skirt! Made of a soft cotton, it zips up the back with faux buttons in the front (which means it doesn’t gap!). It has a slight a-line shape, so it’s not pencil thin across the hips and bum.

Another keeper for me, this maxi skirt is so silky-soft, with a drape-y fit. It has an elastic pull-on waist, with button details and a side slit. The colors are perfect for fall, and easily transitions from work to weekend.
