Happy Monday, friends, and welcome back to a new week! How was your weekend? Mr. College came home for a few nights, so between all the volleyball, we were able to celebrate Mr. SP’s birthday together! We saw both sets of grandparents, too, so that was a treat.
I also unpacked another round of boxes, and started figuring out where I want to hang art around the house. With it being a new build, I’ve been dragging my feed about putting holes in the wall! I know getting things on the wall will help it feel more settled though.
Now that Fall is ‘officially’ here (she says loosely given the current Texas heat!), we’re moving full steam ahead to Fall fashion. And while this season calls for more layers and heavier fabrics, they don’t have to cost a mint. Nordstrom Rack is a literal treasure chest of incredible Fall styles, and all up to 70% off!
In fact, I found four of the cutest cardigans for Fall, and all are under $30! And obviously I love a good cardi, since I named it one of Fall’s Essential Seven HERE!

Not only are these cardigans all $29, but each is crazy-good quality, in the softest knits you’ll want to wear all season. This is definitely a go-to Fall uniform, and I wear them on repeat with mules, booties, and sneakers.
This cardi is a fine ribbed knit, with drape collar and a hood. I’ve had these mules since last year, and they’re still one of my faves. I love that you grab them for less at Nordstrom Rack this season!

This cardigan has wide stripes in great Fall neutrals, and is the softest, medium-weight knit. You probably recognize these jeans and booties from my recent Dressing Room Diaries HERE and Amazon Finds HERE… I reached for them more than any others!
Fit Tip: Sweater is true to size, I’m in an XS. Booties are true, as well.

This windowpane cardigan is a little heavier, and a great alternative to a jacket. It has a bit of a chunky texture, but is still cozy-soft.

And finally, my favorite cardi of the bunch, this cozy sweater is the perfect top layer over tees, leggings, dresses, and even with your go-to lounge pants! It comes in a range of colors, and has a relaxed fit with an open collar.
Oh, Nordstrom Rack is a great spot to grab basics like tees for less… I grabbed this Madewell long sleeve tee in a range of colors and stripes.

These jeans are so good for all shoe styles, with such a comfy and flattering fit! They have a straight leg, with mid-rise and minimal distressing. I love the cropped length and stretchy fit!
Fit Tip: They run a little big and have some give, so I sized down to a size 0.

I love a good cardigan and that first one really caught my eye! I’m loving those jeans too.. unfortunately Nordstrom Rack isn’t shipping to Canada anymore but I’ll watch at Nordstrom.. I know we have a store local that I’ve just recently seen some but not sure of the styles..
Our weekend was spent dealing with hurricane Fiona and we still have no power ..Thankfully we have a generator but no water as we are on well and septic… Hopefully power will be restored by tonight.. so many in our province and other provinces like PEI and NFLD had such horrific loss we really can’t complain here!

Love that colorblock sweater! FYI I’ve had good luck with using command strips to hang art. They make a heavy duty version that holds around 16 lbs each. If you use several, you can hang even your heavier pieces.
