Happy Friday, friends, and cheers to the weekend! We had a few precious (and too fast!) days with Sloan this week… it’s OU Welcome Week for the freshmen, so she came home to recover from Rush and pack the rest of her things. I’d fooled myself into thinking I was cool about her moving back, but that was only because it felt temporary.
This time it’s a bit more permanent… we likely won’t see her again until Family Weekend in October, so I felt this goodbye a little deeper. Definitely not as hard as her first year, but still the ever-present throat lump. She lives somewhere else for the next 10 months, and while I love it for her, I don’t necessarily love it for me, ha!
The consolation is seeing her absolutely thrive and grow into the most incredible human, while working hard to reach her dreams. What a gift to have a front row seat to that! Right? (Or that’s what I keep telling myself anyway.)
Today I’m excited to share a really incredible Amazon Haul… I’ve found some amazing designer-inspired styles for less lately, so I wanted to round them up in one spot. From Farm Rio to Tuckernuck, and Anthropologie to Free People, I’ve found the absolute best looks-for-less for us!!

Quite possibly the best look-for-less I’ve ever found! This dress is identical to this Tuckernuck style (I know, because I have the $$ version!), but for a fraction of the price. The material is sturdy and it’s beautifully made… even down to the sleeve details.

The woven fabric is cool and soft, and it’s fully lined.
