Thanks for sharing your tips on this week’s 5 Tips for a Better Night Sleep! I’ve always been pretty strict with my kids when it comes to bedtimes, as it’s the one area that impacts their behavior most. Hopefully they’re learning the importance of healthy sleep habits, and will take it with them when they leave.
Today I’m so excited to welcome the holiday season at home, and share our Dining Room all decked out for Christmas! I usually set our holiday table early so it’s part of the decor and we can enjoy it longer. This year I went with traditional red, and layered in lots of personality and texture.
Mini Table Top Trees | Spode Wine Glasses | Spode Christmas Plates | Felt Snowflake Chargers
Growing up, my grandmother and aunt’s holiday tables always included the classic Spode dishes, and dinner always felt extra special. I remember hoping I’d have special dishes when I grew up…and here I am all grown up with my own Spode table!
I scored this set of dinner plates and coordinating wine glasses 30% off at Macy’s, and my collection has officially begun! (Thanks to the Friends & Family Sale going on now!) The Spode Vegetable Bowl was a free gift with purchase, too!
I added more color with the snowflake felt chargers and plaid napkins (under $3 each!). The centerpiece is a couple of fun mini trees and cute metal reindeer (all under $20!). The gold tapers and napkin rings tie in with the gold-rims of the glasses, and add some sparkle to the table. (Love this collection of affordable napkin rings.)
I’ll add gold flatware and name cards the night before we host Christmas dinner.

I’ll use the console as a buffet or drink set-up later, but for now it’s decorated with some simple stems and gold lanterns.
Sugarplum Tip: Macy’s Cellar line is my hands-down favorite for serving and entertaining pieces. By using all white, I’m able to mix them with any setting or holiday. Plus, the prices are amazing!
Aren’t these reindeer so cute!? I love pretty much the entire Martha Stewart Holiday Collection at Macy’s (and it’s all on sale!).
Here’s a little peek of our tree (or one of them!)…we went pretty extra on it this year, and I can’t wait to share it next week!

I love our house everyday, but especially this time of year! Stay tuned for the rest of the house soon!
How’s your decorating coming along? Do you set a holiday table? With Thanksgiving falling so early this year, I love how we’re able to savor the Christmas season even longer! Don’t forget Macy’s Friends & Family Event is happening now, with 30% off site wide with code FRIEND! Including the entire Spode Collection, plus free gift with purchase!

Everything is just gorgeous, Cassie!
It looks so fancy!
You just reminded me to get red nail polish for my next manicure appointment haha! Goes with the darling Spode set you feature. Super creative you are with the red plaid napkins and the red snowflake charger. Your middle name should be Noel, or Holly, or Joy:) Can’t wait to see the rest of your beautiful home decked out for Christmas.
Haha! Thanks, girlie!! And yes, love a good cherry red for the holidays!
So pretty! My grandmothers had Spode, too! I picked out pottery barn’s reindeer collection when I got married but always love Spode when I see it!
I love those table lamps but don’t see them sourced for the dining room. Will you share where they’re from?
Yes ma’am…they are Lamps Plus.
