Best of HSN Smart Deals | February

Hello from the frozen tundra! Okay, so maybe that’s a little dramatic, but Texans don’t fare well in sub-freezing temps! Throw ice in the mix, and we’re literally helpless. I’ll take 100-degrees over 15-degrees any day!

But since I’m entirely too fragile to go outside, I’m just spending more time online… which means more great finds for us, ha! Last month I shared my latest retail discovery… HSN (yep, the very same HSN that I correlate to grandparents), and y’all loved those unexpected deals!

I tend to search for fashion, beauty, and appliances at their corresponding big box retailers, but discovered HSN has it all… and for incredible prices! You can find everything from Dolce Vita sneakers to Dyson vacuums to Dyson stick vacuums to Clinique Skincare sets, and all on sale!

I recently spotted these sheets, and knew the fun palm pattern would be perfect for adding a pop of color and coastal pattern to The Sugar Shack bunk room!

This room is pretty small, and basically all built-in bunk bed, so the only place to bring in a little personality is with the linens and window coverings. The pull-down shades were custom made with black-out lining, and we added the green fringe trim to coordinate with the shades of blue and green in the attached bathroom (see that HERE).

The sheets are a super soft microfiber, plus they launder great (which is key considering these beds are used by the teens and their friends!).

Microfiber Sheet Set

I’d love to eventually add wallpaper to the ceiling of this room, but have yet to find the perfect print!

As for other smart deals happening at HSN right now… here’s a glimpse of the huge range that caught my eye.

one. Microfiber Sheet Set // two. Benefit Cosmetics Brow Microfilling Pen Duo
three. Too Faced Born This Way Foundation and Brush Duo // four. Side-Zip Platform Sneakers
five. Too Faced Mascara and Primer Set // six. Curtis Stone Baking Sheet Set
seven. Clinique Great Skin Everywhere Skincare Set // eight. Hairshark 3 in 1 Volumizing Brush
nine. StriVectin Tightening Face Cream // ten. Bissell Powergroom Swivel Pet Vacuum

Crazy how many things, right?! And not only can you get smart deal pricing, but code HELLO10 gives you another $10 off! (Coupon codes are applied at the final ‘order review’ screen.) Anything catch your eye from this month’s smart deals?

Also, I know we’re years away, but is it weird that I’m already envisioning these bunk beds crawling with grandkids?! Mr. SP is already calling me Mamaw (he thinks it’s hilarious, I do not), which opens another can of worms… what would my grandmother name be?!

I have never tried this brand of sheets from HSN but their Concierge Collection sheets are fabulous. They get softer with each wash. When I became a grandmother 6 years ago I picked the name Gigi. Short for glamorous grandma! It fits me perfectly, easy for littles to say and spell.

Thanks for the great HSN ideas and discount! The Clinique set could not be beat. Still envisioning myself w/that all-in-one Bissell vacuum you posted last time-wow.
So an old post popped up, “A dresser grows up”, from 2010! Girl, you were just as funny, delightful (am I showing my age on that word?), laugh&smile inducing way back then!
Luv your teen room-the laughter that goes on there! Now back to my HSN shopping. : )

For several years I was ‘Damma Ticia’ until he learned to say ‘r’. I stuck with Gramma Tricia. How about ‘Mimi’? Or the classic, Grandma? Granny comes across a little too Granny on Beverly Hillbillies.

Hi Cassie! In love with those bunk beds but especially the linens you chose! They will be perfect for grandchildren. My favorite grandmother name is Mimi but that’s what I go by. 😉 I called my grandma Grammy. I think Grammy just sounds sweet. But what I think sounds perfect for you is CeCe. I now someone whose name is Carrie and that’s what her grandbabies call her. I think it’s really cute! 🙂

hahah, that is so sweet and cute! My mom’s name is Sharon, and my niece couldn’t say it so she became ‘Noonan’ Then my son came along as the first grandchild and changed it to ‘Noonie’ Now we all call her noonie and it totally suits her!

Love that! And can I teach them to say it with a real southern accent, so it comes out as ‘Shugah’?! 😉

Not weird at all!! Our first grandchild will be here within a month and we can’t wait!!! I’ve decided on Gigi (since my first name begins with a G it was an easy choice for me). It’s fun to think about enjoying little people again 🙂

My grandchildren call my mom, their great grandmother, GG. We all love it! And their great grandfather is Gpaw. Now as for saying HSN is for grandparents, that’s not very nice, actually. I’ve been watching that and QVC during commercials for years….also, there is something mindnumbingly calming about watching people talk about products. Kind of like watching that guy paint. But they also have the best deals on makeup and skin care, bar none. So, there!

Oh my gosh…I meant no malice behind the statement, and something ‘being for grandparents’ is in no way a dig! HSN is clearly a secret the older generations are already savvy to, and I’m just glad I discovered it!
