Best of 2018 | Travel

I loved every second of 2018 (okay, there were a few rough patches…so almost every second), and one of the biggest reasons was because of all the travel opportunities. Between blogger conferences, brand relationships, and family trips, I packed my bag quite a few times last year!

My grandparents were avid travelers, so I learned early-on that the world is as accessible as you’re willing to be. One of the reasons Mr. SP and I work so hard is for the chance to travel, alone and as a family. Even in our early years when we lived on peanuts, we still found ways to explore. (I honed my budget-travel skills then!)

These were the most popular Trip Reports of last year, and hopefully a good resource for those of you thinking of packing your bags somewhere fun in 2019. Click the link below each pic for the full recap, including where we stayed and ate, what we did, and outfits I packed!

Alaska Cruise Travel Diary

We had a quick trip to Palm Springs, as well, but more about that soon! I also shared several packing posts, like What’s in My Carry-On Bag and How to Pack a Hat. I know you like the packing details when we travel, so I hope you liked seeing more of that last year.
Anything else I can add to make my Trip Reports more helpful? I love when you share your own trips inspired and planned using these posts! See you tomorrow with a look back at my top style posts of 2018!

We stayed at Nihi Kai Villas, unit #422 (found on VRBO) and loved it!! My son and husband did the zip-lining (daughter wasn’t heavy enough, so we stayed behind). We had reservations for the tubing, but it was canceled bc of high water! Kauai was amazing…def one of our best trips ever!
