Amazon Fashion Finds | November

Happy Friday, friends, and cheers to the weekend!! How was your week? Not going to lie, mine was a little rough around the edges. There were definitely some highlights… like my birthday lunch at Nordstrom (first time back in ages!!) and seeing my girl slay in her volleyball game.

But repercussions of this pandemic continue showing their ugly head, and some days they get the best of me. Virtual learning, election division, isolation… it’s hard, and especially hard on our young ones. So while we don’t talk of it much around here (I try to keep this a place of light and joy), just know that I’m feeling what you’re feeling.

And it’s okay to take a day (or five, ha!) to sit in it, and feel the feels. It’s okay to not show up every minute of every day if it means you’re doing what you need to stay sane. And it’s also okay to disagree, but love each other anyway. Okay, I’m done… thank you for coming to my Ted talk.

Today is time for your favorite monthly series, Amazon Fashion Finds! I started these Fashion Finds over two years ago, and they quickly became reader-faves. It takes some intense digging to find the good stuff, but I love the challenge of discovering such gems! And remember, I’d never share anything with you that I wouldn’t wear myself, or recommend to my best friend!

This month we’re focusing on comfy and cozy, because #2020, along with pieces for the celebrations ahead.

Sizing info: I’m 5’4″ 125-ish pounds, and usually wear an XS/0 and 26 jeans. My fit tips and sizing recommendations are included with each description.

Sweaters //

Okay… let’s kick things off with a darling leopard sweater that’s as soft and comfy as it is chic! I love the pattern and extra stretchy fit, plus all the styling options. The quality is excellent, too!

Fit Tip: I’m wearing an XS

Y’all, this is getting borderline embarrassing… but I’m obsessed with this tunic sweater! I needed to see some of the other colors and pattern options in person, and now I’m sitting with five colors and can’t decide which to keep! It’s super soft, forgiving fit, long for the bum, and so cute!

Fit Tip: I’m wearing an XS, but would size down.

Oversized Tunic Sweater | Cropped Jeans | Sneakers | Distressed Jeans | Booties | Gold Bead Bracelets

This darling sweater has the cutest puff detail at the shoulder with a built-in pad for extra definition. Don’t be scared, it’s not an 80s shoulder pad, but rather a subtle one to create a flattering silhouette. I love the princess sleeve and gorgeous red hue… great with jeans, but dresses up beautifully with pants. It’s soft and stretchy, and the quality is unbelievable, too!

These pants were a find from last month and I can’t get enough of them! They’re a pull-on style, in a thick stretchy material that is both comfy and chic.

Fit Tip: I’m wearing an XS in the sweater, and small pants (def size up in these!)

Puff Sleeve Sweater | Wide Leg Crop Pants | Slingback Heels | Gold Bead Bracelets

This mock neck was a surprise hit… it appeared a little plain right out of the package, but is actually really nice on! It’s a medium weight waffle weave that’s really soft, and in great colors. Wear it long or give it a half tuck, it’s cute with flats, sneakers and booties. This color is perfect for Thanksgiving, don’t you think?

Fit Tip: I’m wearing a small

Textured Sweater | Cropped Jeans | Leopard Loafers (Also HERE, both on sale!)

Not my favorite Amazon sweater find, but certainly cute for the price. It’s a heavy cotton-blend in a large weave, that’s both soft and relaxed. It comes in some fun stripe combinations that are perfect for the season.

Fit Tip: I’m wearing a small, but would size down.

Pullovers & Vests //

You know I love my Patagonia pullovers and fleeces… the quality, durability, and warmth can’t be beat. BUT, they are pricey!! I found two styles that are almost a dead-ringer for the Patagonia quilted pullovers, at a fraction of the price! This one is really soft with a stand-up collar and snap front. It even has pockets and I love the open hem for pairing with leggings.

Fit Tip: I’m wearing a small

Quilted Snap Pullover | Cropped Jeans | Sneakers | Gold Bead Bracelets

Another great look-alike, this one isn’t quite as soft, but the style and fit is super cute!

Fit Tip: I’m wearing a small

Quilted Pocket Pullover | Cropped Jeans | Sneakers | Leggings | Gold Bead Bracelets

This pullover has Patagonia vibes as well, and is crazy soft and warm! I love the zipper detail and contrasting inside color. It’s a little longer, so great with leggings, and even has pockets. This one is a Little Miss fave from last year, and she wears the blue one all the time.

Fit Tip: I’m wearing a small

Fuzzy Half-Zip Pullover in ‘Pink Single Side’ | Leggings | Slip-On Sneakers | Gold Bead Bracelets

I have this half-zip pullover in gray from last year and loved pulling it out as soon as the temps dropped! I love the longer length and open hem that hangs well without hugging the bum. It has pockets, and every color has the cutest contrasting trim. It’s crazy soft and warm, too!

Fit Tip: I’m wearing a small

Slim Fuzzy Pullover | Leggings | Slip-On Sneakers | Gold Bead Bracelets

This pullover is a true fleece, in a medium weight with snap collar and pockets. It’s a medium weight and comes in great solids and this fun animal print.

Fit Tip: I’m wearing a small

Animal Print Pullover | Cropped Jeans | Similar Slip-On Sneakers

This sherpa vest is challenging my beloved puffer vest! Super soft with finished edges, pockets and a stand-up collar, it’s so cute layered over tees, hoodies, and flannels.

Fit Tip: I’m wearing a small

Vest | Striped Hooded Tunic | Long Sleeved Black Tee | Cropped Jeans | Similar Slip-On Sneakers

Tops & Tees //

Does this fun top look familiar? I shared the black and white version a few months ago, and loved it so much I had to try this new color combo… so perfect for fall! It’s a soft woven material that moves well, with flutter sleeves, ruffled neckline, and a forgiving drop peplum hem. It’s also long enough to cover the bum, so it’s super cute with skinny jeans or these thick leggings.

Fit Tip: I’m wearing a small

Peplum Spotted Top | Ponte Legging with Ankle Zipper | Similar Black Mules | Gold Bead Bracelets

Another fun and easy holiday look, one of my favorite Amazon tops now comes in a beautiful, deep red. Such a simple, yet elegant and comfortable outfit, perfect for Christmas Eve dinner.

Fit Tip: I’m wearing a small, size up if in-between

Puff Sleeve Blouse | Wide Leg Crop Pants

The Thanksgiving purists might not be ready for this… but hello Christmas tees! These graphic tees are so cute and festive, and each is super soft and comfy. Pair them with jeans, joggers, or your fave PJ pants.

Fit Tip: I’m wearing a small in each of them

middle: ‘Merry’ Tee | Cropped Jeans | Similar Slip-On Sneakers
right: ‘Christmas Cheer’ Tee | High-Rise Cropped Black Jeans | Similar Black Mules

FINALLY!! I’ve been stalking this hooded pullover for a year, and finally grabbed it in my size!! I have the gray one from several years ago and wear it on repeat. It’s a thick and stretchy knit, but lined in a super-soft fleece for added warmth and softness. I love the longer length and hemline… and wear it with jeans and leggings, and especially love it layered under vests!

Fit Tip: I’m wearing a small

Striped Hooded Tunic | Cropped Jeans | Similar Slip-On Sneakers

Jeans & Pants //

It was instant-smitten with these Levi’s, and I’ve worn them three times since discovering last week! They’re the same fit and softness of the distressed ones I’ve been wearing all fall, but in a dark, black rinse. They’re super soft and stretchy, and fairly lightweight in a comfortable high-rise fit. And you know I love that kick at the ankle for pairing with flats and sneakers!

Fit Tip: I’m wearing a 27

High-Rise Cropped Black Jeans | Long Sleeved Henley Tee | Similar Black Mules | Gold Bead Bracelets

These leopard leggings are a fun find, and definitely moving in to my closet! They’re a thick and stretchy jegging, but with a true zipper and button, plus back pockets. Wear them as pants, or as leggings with my go-to long sweater.

Fit Tip: I’m wearing a 2

Leopard Skinny Jeans | Oversized Tunic Sweater | Similar Black Mules | Gold Bead Bracelets

Dresses //

If this dress looks familiar, it’s because it was a reader-favorite last month! It’s back in stock, and in a cute, new belted silhouette! A brushed flannel shirtdress with the slightest aline shape, it’s super soft and so cute for fall!

Fit Tip: I’m wearing a small

Plaid Shirtdress | Booties

A reader sent me this link and said it was ‘so Sugarplum,’ so of course I had to order it! And I have to agree… the sweetest dress in a darling print, it’s stretchy and forgiving, and so easy to wear. I love the little shoulder detail, the pleated skirt and modest length. And of course pockets!

Fit Tip: I’m wearing a small

Pleated Midi Dress | Nude Block Heel Sandals

Jackets & Coats //

I was shocked by the quality and style of this sherpa jacket… it’s adorable, and so thick and soft!! I adore the colorblocking and popped collar. It’s fully-lined in a thick t-shirt material, so it’s soft on the inside and out and really warm. I only wish it didn’t have an elastic hem!! I simply folded it under instead of wearing it longer and hugging my hips.

Fit Tip: I’m wearing a small

Chevron Zip-Up Jacket in ‘khaki’ | Cropped Jeans | Memory Foam Slippers

You know me and utility jackets… they have my heart for sure! This one is insane quality, on par with Madewell. I love the color and heavy cotton twill and stand-up collar. It’s also a bit shorter than traditional utility jackets, so it has a sportier vibe I love.

Fit Tip: I’m wearing a 2

Utility Jacket | Long Sleeved Henley Tee | Cropped Jeans | Sneakers | Gold Bead Bracelets

Who knew I needed a leopard puffer in my life?! Leopard is the ultimate neutral, you know, so you could pair this with virtually any color and pattern! This is a quality puffer that’s not too heavy or bulky, and packs easily in the attached pouch. It’s a great lightweight top layer for fall or mild winters.

Fit Tip: I’m wearing a small

Leopard Puffer Jacket | Cropped Jeans | Similar Slip-On Sneakers

These puffers are fuller and warmer, with the cutest cropped shape and tall collar. Plus, how fun are the colors and patterns?!

Fit Tip: I’m wearing an XS

Puffer Jacket | Long Sleeved Henley Tee | Distressed Jeans | Booties

Pajamas & Loungewear //

No question loungewear is the real hero of 2020, and I don’t have any plans to stop! This set is jersey soft, in a silky, medium weight fabric. The tie-dye is subtle, and the fit is spot-on.

Fit Tip: I’m wearing a small, but need my regular XS.

Hoodie Sweatshirt | Drawstring Joggers | Fuzzy Slippers

A fun pajama option for the colder months, this set has a silky soft jersey top and lightweight brushed fleece bottoms. They’re jogger style with elastic cuffs and a high-rise.

Fit Tip: I’m wearing a small

Pajama Set | Fuzzy Slippers

And finally, my all-time favorite pajama brand is back with their darling holiday print!! These are made from the same pima cotton as newborn clothes… ie, the softest material there is!! I have several sets from this brand, and they’re the first I reach for every fall and winter.

Fit Tip: I’m wearing an XS

    Your TED talk, ha,ha,ha!
    Super cute oversized/color block tunic.
You look like Tigger in the tiger stripe fleece, but that’s a good thing. Cute and different.
Thought I was at the San Diego Zoo w/all these fun animal prints.

Thanks so much for sharing that even you have a tough time occasionally with all that is going on. I’m usually a very upbeat person but this past week has gotten the best of me. Makes me feel better that a person as happy and together as you are has even struggled a bit. Appreciate your share.

I have a couple things in my amazon cart … mostly from your posts! The berry keeper, the mascara, one of those vests and that hooded pullover but I’m considering teal since I have so much black, navy, gray and off white already in my closet.

So many cute items! Adding a few to my Christmas list for others. Alas, it is that season I don’t spend on myself. Boo!
I was wondering if you follow color analysis and what season you are? You are so light and bright! You are similar to my coloring (which is why I started following you-and so glad I did), so I’ve always been curious if you have been analyzed a season. 🙂

My local Walmart had a fleece half zip pullover almost exactly like the pink and black one that you are showing. They were super fluffy and $16!!! In all kinds of colors. Just an FYI for those looking for a super affordable option that they can probably get at their local Wally World! 😉

I think our teachers definitely deserve some extra TLC this year! I always send gift cards to school with the kids on their last couple days before Christmas break, but this year I need to figure out how to get their gifts to them. Our school just went full remote last Friday and will be that way until after Christmas break. Hm…

I love the puff sleeve sweater on you, but viewing on amazon I’m not sure about the bottom of the sleeves where it gets tight. Is it pretty easy to push that part up under the puffier part? Hopefully this question makes sense!

Hi Melissa! Yes I think I understand what you’re asking… and yes, it is easy to pull the wider area of the sleeve over the cuff! It’s how I have it in the colors from the post actually! Hope this helps! xo, C
