Happy Wednesday, friends… from the surface of the sun! I mean, I love summer and all, but holy moly it’s sweltering! I was going through photos from French Polynesia for this post, and it almost doesn’t seem real now. Were those cool tradewinds a dream?!
Of course, my suitcase was full of sundresses and swimsuits (see everything I packed and wore HERE), but Mr. Sugarplum and I always include a handful of Vuori favorites for lounging and exploring, too. They came in handy since both hotels had beautiful tennis courts and fitness facilities.

The Plyo Tank has all the performance details you need and more… like moisture-wicking stretch rib fabric and UPF 30+ sun coverage. It even has a medium-support bra built-in with removable cups and a honeycomb mesh lining. It’s fitted through the body, with a cropped length.
Vuori’s Volley Skirt is so cute, with the most comfortable fit! It has a built-in short, with side and tennis ball pockets, and a high-rise fit (perfect for more cropped tanks and tops like the Plyo).
It’s also made of the sweat-wicking performance fabric that keeps you cool on and off the court.

The Torrey Romper was perfect for lounging around the room, trips to the spa, and even over my swimsuit at the pool. It’s a super lightweight and soft ribbed knit, with a classic fit, elastic drawstring waistband, and side pockets.
I sized up to a small for a relaxed fit across the bum and thighs, so it’s a little big through the tank.
Torrey Romper (Black, Small)
You’ve seen these Cardiff Shorts before, they quickly became favorites for workouts and running around.
They’re made of a quick-drying, moisture-wicking material with four-way stretch and a super comfy wide waistband. They don’t pull across the bum or thigh, and have a flattering scalloped leg opening and high-rise.

Mr. SP reaches for the Kore Shorts more than any other, with their athletic fit for just about every sport. They have an elastic waist with drawstring, in a quick-dry material, and a breathable boxer-brief liner. He’s even worn them swimming a few times! He brought three colors with him, but somehow I only ever snapped pics of him in this one color!?
When he wants something that looks a little dressier (but is still performance-comfortable!), he wears the Meta Short.
Fit Tip: Vuori runs true to size for him, he’s in a size Medium in the shorts.

I’m sure you real tennis players are cringing at my form!! But at least my outfit was cute, ha! I haven’t played in years (and years!), but this trip inspired us to pick it up again. We even played a few rounds of Pickleball and loved it! I think the beautiful courts and dreamy weather had something to do with it!

We rarely dressed up, but when we did, Mr. SP reached for his favorite Strato Tech Polo. I placed an order with Vuori fir $426.00. Terrible experience. They sent the shirts irdered but no bottoms. Just cancelled them 12 days later. No email explaining nor apologizing. No customer service phone to call. Couldn’t make return as didn’t recognize the order. Terrible customer service. Will stick with Athleta hands down.
I am so sorry, and frankly, SHOCKED to hear this! I’ve had nothing but incredible service from them. Every brand has hiccups, but I can’t imagine they won’t make it right! Have you reached out to customer service? usually a phone call is most effective!!
