Happy Tuesday, friends! We are busy bees packing up Sloan to move back to college tomorrow. Fortunately, the busyness is helping deflect the emotions… until the dreaded drive home alone. Ugh, the worst part!

You guys… I’m the mother of a 24-year-old man!! How and when did that happen?! I couldn’t be more proud of him and of being his mom! We celebrated him with a fun afternoon at an Escape Room, followed by a long weekend at the lake (perks of a July 2 birthday!).

Memories with Mixtiles //

This wall of lake memories is literally my favorite thing at The Sugar Shack… I stand in this little hallway smiling every time I pass through! Creating it was so fast and simple, too… just peel and stick! You can peel them off easily without damaging the walls, and the photo quality is really impressive.

The Mixtiles site is super easy to navigate, too… choose your photo size and frame color, and they arrive within a week. I don’t have a code, I just watch for sales (they have them frequently), and print a few after each special weekend.

Sugarplum Book Club //

I just finished Great Big Beautiful Life by Emily Henry and it was a great, easy summer read. No one does banter better than Henry, and she was back in fine form with this one. (I might be in the minority here, but I thought her last couple were lacking.) This book had a little more substance to it, as well, and even an unexpected plot twist at the end!
