I never get enough of the amazing inspiration and projects whipped out by my fellow bloggers. Talent galore! I selfishly write these ‘Melt My Butter’ posts as my own way of bookmarking….hope you like them too!
Katie at Wildwood Creek transformed a plain Craigslist dresser with a mixture of Annie Sloan chalk paints. Her projects are always delicious.
Babygirl loves going to the paint store with me so she can gather her favorite colors. I think we need to make this Paint Chip Bunting from Sugar and Dots.
vixenMade created the cutest Pinkalicious Party for her daughter I’ve ever seen! I love that she made most everything herself, too. I’m taking notes.
If your kids are in school, then you know how many occasions arise when a small teacher gift is needed. Shindig Parties to Go shared these great free printables that I’m sure any teacher would love to receive!
Emily at Decor Chick whips out great projects all the time, but her new lampshades stopped me in my tracks. You have to see what the lampshades looked like originally, and what she used to transform them!
Emily at Name 5 Things returned home from a dream European trip with her hubby. Her re-caps, especially Paris, are making me swoon!
After seeing Danielle at Danielle Oakey Interiors gorgeous paint-job on her desk, I am obsessed with trying out the high-gloss oil paint! Look at the shine on that puppy! (Love her DIY Ombre Art, too!)
I love baker’s twine, especially for the holidays. But I don’t love paying the steep price for it. From S+H shows us how to make our own for a fraction of the cost!
I keep thinking one of these days I’ll tire of chevron. But it hasn’t happened, and after seeing Michaela at Micheala Noelle’s Chevron Dresser, I know I never will!
Look what my friend, Emily at A Well Dressed Home, made….two heartbeats! It’s been an uphill road, so I’m thrilled for her! (Is it bad to say I’m just as excited about the double nursery she’ll create?!)
I say this over and over, but blogging brings so many joys and blessings….with the most surprising being the friends I make! Megan at Honey We’re Home and I had a blind date last year, and our virtual friendship quickly carried over to real life. She was in town last weekend and we jumped at the chance to stuff our faces and booze it up meet for dinner.
Then she went home and wrote the sweetest post about me and Mr. Sugarplum. Seeing her, and meeting her awesome husband, really just melted my butter! The bigger bonus was how easily our hubbies hit it off. You can’t imagine the level of chatting going on at our table!! Megan is sweet, funny, smart, supportive and gorgeous…the best kind of friend to have!
If you ever have the chance to meet fellow bloggers, I highly recommend you swallow back the fear and just go for it! I truly have friends for life because of it. And hopefully, one of these days, we’ll all have a giant group blind-date!
What’s got you swooning in the blogosphere lately? Happy weekend, lovebugs! I’m hosing down the mantel and front porch with Halloween awesomeness and hope to show you next week.

So much good stuff in this post, but I really had to comment to second your advice to take the plunge and meet online friends in real life.
Some on a whim, and a few after years of virtual communication, I have made some of the most solid and interesting friends through blogging. It's such a bonus to this creative world!
This post is filled with awesomeness. How are you and Megan so pretty in every darn picture? Thanks so much for including me!
