Today marks the official two-week mark until the new Gibson x Hi Sugarplum Summer of Color Collection launches! Two weeks!! I’m literally full of the most nervous energy and excitement, and can’t wait to show you more. But until then, some darling accessories and strategic sneak peeks will have to sustain!
I love every stage of these Collections, from inception to finished pieces. After months of pouring our hearts into every detail, there’s nothing like seeing the final Collection for the first time…except maybe getting to wear it! I love playing with the pieces and coming up with new combinations…and of course styling them with fun accessories like statement earrings, festive bags, and darling shoes.
Today I’m sharing the pieces I reached for over and over when styling the new Summer of Color Collection, along with little peeks of the colors, patterns and silhouettes of what you’ll see June 6th at Nordstrom.com!

I also wore these earrings and this bag several times, but those will have to wait for June 6th to see! The one bag that saw the most action was definitely this one…can you blame me?!
And we can’t talk accessories without mentioning the lipstick…always an outfit-maker! The two most-worn shades were hands-down ‘Shocking Revelation,’ the best shade of ripe watermelon, and ‘Yu,’ a bold, deep pink. Both of which now live in my purse!

Can you tell me about the gold hair clips in the second photo (with the flower drop earrings)? I’m always look for pretty but subtle hair clips and barrettes and those are perfect!
So excited for this new collection, those stripes are dreamy! Do you have a link for those sunglasses in the third photo? (with the beaded hoops and wide brim hat). I’ve never seen anything like them!
Yay, thanks Heather! Those glasses are Vince Camuto from last year. They’re similar in style to the Chloe glasses, but about 1/5 the price!

Thank you! The ‘makeup’ is my go-to pair/color. So neutral, and the nude shade is leg-lengthening!
