Cheers to Friday, friends! I hope your week has been grand, and you have fun weekend plans ahead! Our cruise comes to an end today, and sadly, it’s time to say good-bye to my fun blogger friends, and the spoiled life at sea. We’ve had so much fun on this crazy Sailing with the Scotts adventure (see what we’ve been up to on Instagram or Facebook), and I can’t wait to share more with you in the coming weeks.
The upside of the week coming to an end, is I’ll be reunited with Mr. SP for a a few days in Miami, and then back home to my babes. And while it’s perpetually Summer where I am now, it’s all about sweater-weather at home. In particular, cute and versatile sweater dresses!
I was instantly smitten with the easy, yet flattering, fit of this cowl neck sweater dress. The hardest part was deciding which of the great colors to get! Lucky for me, it keeps going on sale, so I scooped up the ‘barnswallow’ color, as well as the black. (Who thinks up these color names?!)
You know my clothes must all pull double and triple duty (or even 5 Ways!), so I thought I’d show you how I wear this chic little number Day to Night.

This dress has such an easy fit, yet hugs just enough to be flattering. I find it a tad scratchy, so I layer a tank underneath. It’s perfect now with booties, but will easily transition to colder days with dark tights and boots.

Rule of Three….jacket + cuff + graphic bag

Can we talk about these earrings for a second?! So fun and festive (and crazy lightweight…I can’t do earring that drag my lobes down!). They are perfect for holiday season, and will dress up most any outfit. I wore them all week on the cruise and received countless compliments.

I still adore my Look for Less pink rain boots, but I can’t seem to get enough of these real-deals…so lightweight and comfortable! Fortunately for me, we’ve had a rainy Fall!

Rule of Three…vest + bag + pendant necklace

I’m still picking leaves and twigs out of my hair, but I hope you were inspired with new ways for mixing up your Fall dresses. Which look is your favorite? Are you a fan of sweater dresses? Happy weekend, lovebugs!

I love all your outfit pairings!! A sweater dress is perfect for fall because, like you prove, it is so versatile! I really love that red and black vest too!

Adorable! How do you keep your Hunters so shiny? Mine have a white film all over them, and I've tried so many different things, but it keeps coming back!
Thanks keisha! I just got mine for my birthday last week, so haven't had them long enough to get cloudy. But I hear that 'goo gone' is great for bringing back the shine! xo
The black apparently do that more than the others, Mine have.It buffs off with a washcloth but I hate messing with it. Haven't tried the goo gone yet.
I already own the plaid vest, so I think the sweater dress is a no-brainer. I'm looking at Black and Getting Figgy With It! I am just trying to decide between a petite and a regular…I'm 5'2. I just got the Hunters too, when Costco has them a few weeks back! Old Navy is killing it this year!! Love this outfit!

I can't pick which look is my favorite! I do really love the nighttime outfit, though. That moto jacket is fabulous!
You inspired me to order the dress (ok, three of them… Icelandic mine, getting figgywith it and black :). Sporting figgy today with black tights and booties!
Love all the looks!! I was just wondering, what size are you wearing in the red check vest? Is it tts, or does it run large? Thank you!! 🙂
Thanks Kirstin! I'm wearing an XS…it's pretty TTS for me. xo
