Hi friends, and happy Wednesday! I hope you’re having a great week! We’ve spent most of ours hiding out in the air-conditioning, thanks to a crazy Texas heatwave. Even the dogs want to stay inside…so you know that’s hot!
But when we do venture out, I’m all about loose and lightweight dresses and comfortable sandals. There’s nothing worse that materials that don’t breathe, or worse, sticking to you! #notcute For today’s latest in the Summer of Style series, I’m sharing a darling affordable find that’s lightweight and breezy, and super cute!

I fell hard for this gorgeous floral dress in bold shades of blue and pink, and knew the swing shape would be perfect for steamy days (and date nights that include dessert!). It’s fully-lined with a fun tie at the neck, and of course, my favorite racerback fit.
I’ve paired it with fun wedges, but you could easily dress it down with flat sandals, or jazz it up for evenings, weddings and parties with a pair of strappy heels. My wedges are part of a Buy 1, Get 2 Free deal right now, so you can grab the flat, wedge and heels all for the price of one!
Fit Tip: I’m wearing 2p for a knee length (I’m 5’4″), but suggest sizing down if you’re in-between. I would size up half in the wedges.

JCPenney offers such a large selection that sometimes it can be a bit of a treasure hunt, but I’m so happy by what I find! We just stocked up on Vans tees for the teenager (only $10 each!!), and Little Miss found a bunch of rompers she loves…so we’re well on our way to back-to-school shopping! I’ll be sharing some of their favorite finds soon.

Cutest floral dress ever! I’ve grown out of floral dresses (been wearing them so much I got sick of them, lol!) but dark coloured florals are my absolute favourite. They’re summery, but glam at the same time! Cute! 🙂

Oh dear…does it only come in the petite? I’m over 5’8″ and older, so would have to wear a regular length.
I looked everywhere for a non-petite!! But it’s really long…even the petite is to my knees!
