Sugarplum Style, Vol. 63

Well, I delivered a slew of photos to Nordstrom yesterday, so it looks like this Gibson x Hi Sugarplum Collection is really on!!!! Did you notice that nifty countdown widget in my sidebar? Today it’s time for another round of Sugarplum Style, snapshots of my everyday outfits I share on Instagram and Facebook, created by mixing and matching items in my closet. I hope they inspire you to stretch your wardrobe further by mixing up what you already have, and thoughtfully add new things.

One of my favorite dress finds this season, this faux-wrap dress has the cutest ruffle trim on the hemline and sleeves. The shape makes it extra flattering, and so cute with wedges and flat sandals.

Fit Tip: I’m wearing an XS.

Obviously I never met a ruffle trim I didn’t love, including this flirty tee. The body is a super-soft cotton, and the sleeve a crisp cotton poplin. But it’s these jeans that have me swooning…the back seams have booty-lifting magic! Plus, they’re soft, non-distressed and stretchy.

Fit Tip: Both run large, so size down one. I’m wearing a 0P in the jeans for a cropped length.

The easiest travel uniform…a soft tank for comfort, and jean jacket for chilly airplane cabins. This tote is my go-to travel bag, it’s so sturdy and holds my laptop and everything else. The wheely bag is the perfect carry-on size and a great weekender.

Fit Tip: I’m wearing an XS in the tank and jacket, but size down in the jeans.

I loved hearing your feedback to my 8 Tips to Looking & Feeling Your Best post…and should have known you’d want the scoop on my graphic tee and shorts! The shorts are a great mid-rise and slightly longer inseam.

Fit Tip: Both run true to size, I’m wearing XS and 26.

Rainbow stripes, how could I not love this top? It’s a lightweight knit sweater, and easily dresses up or down for Work and Weekend. The wedges are a great neutral, and lower heel that’s all-day comfy.

Fit Tip: Sweater and shoes are true to size.

I went for pure comfort on the flight home from California, and opted for the softest hooded cardigan with my fave v-neck tank (I have it in three colors!).

Fit Tip: Tank and cardigan are true to size, I’m wearing an XS in both.

I attended a blogger conference a few weeks ago (more on that soon!), and couldn’t wait to pull this jumpsuit out again! It’s the cutest chambray stripe, with flattering fit and pockets!

Fit Tip: I’m wearing a regular 0.

I found these pull-on linen shorts in my last Dressing Room Diaries, and already know they’ll be in heavy rotation this Summer. I love the flowy, relaxed fit, and comfy wide waistband (and pockets!). I paired them with my fave v-neck tank, of course.

Fit Tip: They’re true to size, but the linen also stretches out some. I’m wearing XS.

You saw this darling top in yesterday’s Cinco de Mayo post…the cutest embroidery trim and crisp cotton. I love it with the hot pink raffia tassels.

Fit Tip: I sized up to a 2 for more length.

This shirtdress has the most flattering fit with a nipped-in tie-waist and cutest ruffle collar. I love the deep navy color and ruffle hem, too. It looks great with wedges or flats, and pairs well with a jean jacket.

How cute are my furry babes…and this sporty striped tee? It’s a super soft, extra thick cotton with a great relaxed fit.

Another style from the blogging conference, this flowing abstract was perfect for an outdoor pool party. The top is a stretchy jersey knit, and the skirt a silky mini pleat for great movement.

Ready for Summer! I grabbed these flat sandals for the Gibson x Hi Sugarplum photoshoot, and didn’t want to take them off! The padded footbed makes them extra-comfy.

This dress never lets me down when the invite calls for ‘cocktail.’ I’ve worn it to so many weddings and events I’ve lost count…but it never fails to bring the compliments. Plus, it’s actually comfortable to wear. It comes in a slew of colors, too.
