Happy Monday, y’all! How was your weekend? I’m going to be traveling the next two weekends, so I took advantage of the quiet before the storm! I’m headed to a conference this weekend, then it’s off to sunny California to shoot the Gibson x Hi Sugarplum Collection! #eeek
Thanks so much for the love on last week’s Transitioning to Spring Five Ways series! This week we’ve got a mash-up of more style inspiration, plus a puppy update, and a new Dressing Room Diaries. I’m also working on a FAQ post about the Gibson x Hi Sugarplum Collection, so be sure to leave any questions you’ve got in today’s comments!
Today it’s time for another round of Sugarplum Style, snapshots of my everyday outfits I share on Instagram and Facebook, created by mixing and matching items in my closet. I hope they inspire you to stretch your wardrobe further by mixing up what you already have, and thoughtfully add new things.
This eyelet top is the epitome of Spring, and so cute paired with jeans, and shorts when it warms up later. I added some fun tassel earrings for a color pop.
Fit Tip: I’m wearing an XS, and layered a nude cami under.
Shorts one day, and sweatshirts the next…thank you, Spring. This slouchy sweatshirt has a fun, relaxed fit though, and can be worn low on the shoulder. I paired it with my camo cargos for a laid-back afternoon (with these slip-on sneakers, on sale!).
Now that’s my kind of golf course! This is from our trip to West Texas…see part 1 of our recap here, and stay tuned for part 2! This sweatshirt has a fun eyelet hem, but the back is what makes it extra special!
Fit Tip: I’m wearing XS.
This sweater has Mama Sugarplum written all over it! The stripes, the embellishments, the fun colors…I know she’s swooning!
Fit Tip: The wedges are the perfect neutrals, and are true to size. I do size down one in these fave white jeans.
This pic is a throwback from last year, but I found this top restocked and had to share! Such a fun look with jeans or shorts. And don’t forget SUGARPLUM10 always gets you 10% off my monogrammed bags!
Fit Tip: I sized up to a small in the top for more length.
This look was from my Camo Two Ways for Spring post, but I had to share again since the pants and jean jacket are now on sale!
Fit Tip: Both are true to size, I’m wearing XS jacket and 26 in the pants.
Who’s old enough to remember these rugby shirts the first go-round? I loved them then, and I love them now! With the collar popped, obviously. 😉 So many color combos to choose from, but I’m partial to the pink and navy.
Fit Tip: I sized up to a small, but don’t think it was necessary.
The sunshine is pretty, but it’s the wind that kills me!! It’s been so crazy here lately…making it feel so much chillier. Good thing I have this jacket in four colors, it’s the perfect weight for Spring and Fall.
Fit Tip: The jacket is true, I wear an XS, but I sized up to a small in the striped tee.
When your shirt and hat make you look cooler than you really are! This shirt was perfect for casual days in West Texas…I love the crisp cotton, buttons up the back, and popover style.
Fit Tip: I’m wearing XS.
I shared our Bedroom Refresh on the blog a few weeks back, and funny enough, the biggest questions are about the wall color and dog bed! I don’t blame you, I love them both, too! It’s all linked below.
Oh lookie, another day, another military jacket. (See 15 ways to style them here.) Also, do you follow me on Instagram? I share a lot of tutorials on my Stories, including how I do my low, messy ponytail! You can find the tutorial in the highlight videos of my profile.
This world’s cutest jumpsuit was perfect for Easter…especially with the addition of yellow sandals! Fingers crossed they restock more sizes, because it’s a winner for sure!
Fit Tip: I’m wearing a regular 0.
Pretty much my Spring uniform…jeans, flirty tee, and favorite flat sandals!
Fit Tip: The tee is true, I’m wearing an XS, but size up half in the sandals.
Little Miss celebrated her 12th birthday over Easter weekend, and her only request was a Mommy/Daughter Day. #done!! My heart swells every time I see her precious freckle-face and dimpled-smile.
That’s it for today, I hope you found some new outfit inspiration, and fresh ideas for mixing things up in your closet! Which outfit or styles are your favorite?
