Sugarplum Style, Vol. 57

Happy Friday, friends, and cheers to the weekend! For a short week, it sure felt long! Did it for anyone else? Our teen is headed out to a camp retreat for the weekend, and Little Miss has an all-day birthday party…so you know what that means, Day Date!! I see tacos and a movie in my future! 

Today it’s time for another round of Sugarplum Style, snapshots of my everyday outfits I share on Instagram and Facebook, created by mixing and matching items in my closet. I hope they inspire you to stretch your wardrobe further by mixing up what you already have, and thoughtfully add new things.

And it’s been over a month since we had one of these round-ups, so it’s a big one! (I left the Mexico outfits out and will share in a packing post next week!)

This mockneck sweater is so cozy, soft, I just grabbed it in another color! The lilac is so fresh, and unexpected for Winter.

Valentine’s Day called, and she needs to grab this top! So cute, right?! What if I tell you it’s only $12!! #bamwhat It’s a thick cotton in a relaxed fit, but I still wear an XS.

I shared this look in Monday’s Day to Night post, but they just added new colors of the jacket, and it’s 40% off! I sized up one to a small though, it does run a little small.

Another closet favorite…this peplum tee is on sale for $23! I have it in a couple of colors, and it makes a darling layering piece, or worn alone. The twill jacket comes in a ton of colors and this camo, and is fully restocked.

This tartan shirt is my favorite plaid pattern, and pairs with so many colors. It’s a nice weight with a good amount of stretch, too. I sized up to a 2 for more shoulder room.

It doesn’t get much simpler than a sweater, jeans and booties…pretty much my Fall/Winter uniform.

But speaking of uniforms, this is pretty much my Mom look…on repeat! The pullover is so soft and warm!

I’m having a moment with jumpsuits, and this one is especially chic and comfy. The pink scarf also makes a fun wrap for dressy styles.

It’s been crazy-cold around here lately…like single digits! So we’ve had a lot of nights snuggled by the fire and living in pajamas.

I can’t believe this coat is still on sale under $40, and comes in so many colors! I may or may not have three of them. I size up one for layering room!

What do you wear when traveling from Winter to Summer? Layers! This was my travel #ootd for our trip to Mexico…cozy and warm for the plane, and I just shed the sweater when we arrived. Stay tuned for a full ‘What I Packed’ post next week!

Well, here’s a sneak peek. These were probably my most-worn of the entire trip! The dress doubled as a cover-up, and the swimsuit made a cute ‘top’ when worn with shorts.

My trick for jazzing up outfits that feel a little ordinary is to add statement earrings! And these tassels are so fun and lightweight, and come in every color under the sun!

This sweater had me at fair isle, but stole my heart with the red and navy combo, and relaxed cable knit style. I layered it over navy gingham for a bit more pattern fun.

Like I said, lots of pajamas and loungewear…and they don’t come any softer than this hooded cardigan and brushed boyfriend pants.
