Sephora Haul | Best of October

Happy Friday, friends, and cheers to the weekend! We don’t have any real plans, and I couldn’t be more ready for it! The weather is supposed to be spectacular, so I’m sure we’ll spend it outside. Plus, I’m prepping for a major announcement Monday… so get excited!

Today I’m excited to share my latest Sephora Haul! Beauty, hair, and wellness have become popular topics here on Hi Sugarplum in recent years, and I’m thrilled you love chatting it up as much as me. I tend to stay extremely loyal to a product once I’ve fallen in love, but part of my job here is to find and share the latest and greatest… in both style and beauty.

So by popular request, Sephora Hauls have become a monthly series around here (see them all HERE), and I’m back this month with more… here’s the best of my Sephora finds lately.

And if you’re a beauty junkie like me, make sure you’re a Sephora Beauty Insider… they offer exclusive deals and sales, along with samples, rewards, and points with every purchase! This is how you gain access to their biggest sales, too! Sign-up is fast and free HERE!

Sidenote: I tried these products several times before sharing with you, so these aren’t just first impressions!

The holidays will be here before we know it, and Sephora is helping us get started with some incredible gift sets any gal on your list would love! How fun is the packaging, too?

Olaplex Holiday Hair Fix Kit | Sephora Collection Wild Wishes Advent Calendar | Sephora Collection Enchanted Jungle Set

Sephora Collection Wild Wishes Advent Calendar //

We celebrate the season and count down the days of December with an Advent Calendar, and this one is absolute perfection for Little Miss this year! The oversized box is so fun and colorful, with a beauty surprise behind every cut-out.

Each day, uncover a Sephora Collection beauty, skincare, or accessories item to get excited for the holiday season. This advent calendar features 15 full-size and nine mini gifts awaiting behind each door. (I haven’t seen them yet since they’re hidden until you punch out each day.) Not only will she love the beauty treats, but it checks one major thing off my list!

Instead of scrambling for gifts and candy every night, our Advent Calendar is taken care of in one swoop!

Olaplex Holiday Hair Fix Kit

Olaplex Holiday Hair Fix Kit //

You know I’m Team Olaplex over here! After seeing so much improvement using the No. 3 Hair Perfector, I immediately started adding other products from their line. Now I use them all, and honestly believe it’s healed and strengthened my hair. In fact, I no longer need to wear extensions to fill in broken and thinning spots!

For the first time in years, it’s just my own hair, and I couldn’t be happier about it! Not only is this Olaplex Holiday Hair Fix Kit an incredible deal for current Olaplex lovers, but it’s a great gift for others, too!

It includes full sizes of the No. 3 Hair Perfector (a repairing mask), Nos. 4 & 5 Shampoo and Conditioner, and my favorite, the No. 6 Bond Smoothing Styling Creme. All packaged in a cute, giftable box with a savings of $24!

If you’re interested in trying out the system before investing in full sizes, this sample set is a great idea!

Another fun gift option, I grabbed this one for Little Miss’s stocking! This festive, keepsake box contains eight full-size masks for your face, hair, hands and feet.

The set includes a Cucumber Eye Mask, Caffeine Eye Mask, Watermelon Face Mask, Charcoal Nose Strip, The Bubble Mask (this one is so fun!), Coconut Hair Sleeping Mask, Cactus Foot Mask (at-home pedi time!), and Mango Hand Mask. Give them as a single gift, or break it up as stocking stuffers and small thoughtful gifts. It’s a $36 value for $25!

Hourglass Confession Ultra Slim High Intensity Refillable Lipstick //

I was first drawn to this lipstick by the interesting package… then the overwhelmingly positive reviews and color selection convinced me to give it a try.

Hourglass Confession Ultra Slim High Intensity Refillable Lipstick is a creamy, saturated, long-wearing formula, with a satin finish. It has the staying power of a matte, but without smudging or feathering. Each lipstick is encapsulated in a sleek gold tube, and has a slim tip for precise application and defining the lips.

The gold applicator can be used interchangeably with the full collection of Confession Ultra Slim Lipstick Refills (sold separately). I started with ‘I Can’t Wait,’ a bold, bright pink that’s so pretty for holiday. Up next I’m ordering ‘My Icon,’ which is an Allure Best of Beauty winner!

This lipstick formula is also 100% cruelty free, and made without Parabens, Sulfates, or Phthalates.

Clarins V-Facial Intensive Wrap

Clarins V-Facial Intensive Wrap //

I was most excited for this face mask, as it’s all the rage among the beauty bloggers these days. And after only one use, I can see why!

It’s a triple-action mask that refines the appearance of facial contours by visually removing morning puffiness and swelling caused by stress, heat, and hormonal changes. And also in my case, last night’s pizza! It also helps to brighten the complexion and restore radiance.

It’s a luxurious, cream-mousse formula that goes on thick and literally seems to absorb puffiness! I apply it in the morning to clean skin (usually after refreshing my skin with Olehenriksen Balancing Force Oil Control Toner), then rinse with cool water after 15-30 minutes. To preserve this precious product, I concentrate it in my puffiest areas, as opposed to applying to my entire face.

Okay, that’s it for this month’s Sephora Haul! Are any of these products already on your must-have list? What do you love that I should try next?

I just ordered this set while it’s on special, and can’t wait to review it for you. Have you tried it? I also spotted this new Must Haves Kit, a set of eight bestselling makeup products from NARS, Anastasia Beverly Hills, HUDA BEAUTY, and more… many of which are full-size, for less than the price of many single products! Talk about a great gift!

Happy weekend, lovebugs…see you back here Monday for a big announcement!

I love the black and white color blocked sweater you are wearing in this photo! Have you shown it before? Also, how do you use the repairing styling cream? What do you like about it or what does it do for you?

Yes ma’am, I wore the sweater in this post…so cute and a great price! https://hisugarplum.com/10-darling-fall-sweaters-under-50/
I use a pea-size of the styling creme, along with several drops of the oil, mixed together and applied to my clean, damp hair. Comb through, and dry/style as usual. It detangles and smooths, plus adds heat protection!

Yes! I’m buying both the advent gift and the mask gift for my almost teen after your recommendation! I almost always buy what both your kids recommend for gifts! Already hoping your son does one too. I love his taste in clothes, shoes, etc!

I tried the Argan hair mask this week. Wanted to let you know how great I think it is! I like a simple beauty routine and unfortunately I must admit the Olaplex got a little complicated for me. You got me hooked on Colleen Rothschild (I love the cleansing balm and extreme recovery cream and sheer renewal cream plus others :)) so I thought I would try some of their hair products. Didn’t like them nearly as much as the Argan. Hey I don’t even like having to take a lid off a jar in the shower but this product is worth it. Made my hair so soft – I could have let it air dry and my natural curls would have looked just fine. But I went ahead and straightened it. Thank you for your recommendations. Love the silk pillowcase too!

I’m so happy you loved it, too! Such a great affordable hair find! I’ve tried CR hair products…I didn’t love the shampoo, but the hair mask is really good. Similar to the Argon, but pricier. 😉 As for Olaplex, you could use any of the products and benefit from it, so if you’re happy with your shampoo and conditioner, I’d just try the styling creme. And if you need heat protection, add a few drops of the Oil to it. xo. C
