Blue seems to be making frequent appearances in my outfits lately. I don’t know if it’s a land-locked Summer thing, but I’m constantly drawn to the watery shades. Last time I paired it with a neutral gray, but today it’s all about the punch of orange!

The skirt speaks for itself with the vibrant watercolor print, so I kept the rest of the outfit simple. Normally I’d pair it with a colorful top, but sometimes all an outfit needs is a white tee. Especially when it’s a steamy 106-degrees outside! I love orange, but it’s not a flattering color on me…so having it in a
skirt, and away from my face, is a great way to incorporate it in my
closet.
I don’t usually pull my bangs back, but heat and humidity got the best of them.

The turquoise jewels pull the outfit together. I’m crazy for the bangles and ring, courtesy of my sponsor, The Shopping Bag Store! I can’t wait to try the non-toxic nail polish they sent, too…it has no smell?!?!
i luv it all! the skirt is just amazing!
I adore the bracelet too! And too bad the heat and humidity stays so long in Texas! I think everyone is getting ready for fall and we're still in the thick of it.
How adorable! That ring is amazing. This is one of my new favorite color combos. I would love to incorporate it somehow in our decorating.
I love your colorful skirt and the jewelry! This color combination is great! You are looking great as always!
I love the outfit. What a cute idea. I think you should have a link up of Outfit Inspiration too – that would be fun.
Pretty girl! I love your outfit. I have been wearing a ton of orange and navy this summer. Your adorable as always.
You look great in anything! I've yet to venture in to florals yet – I keep having flashbacks to freshmen year of high school. 😉 Love your skirt though -maybe I should go for it!
Cute! Nice job with the accessories, that's what I have the hardest time with when it comes to creating an outfit. Also, love your roots and cowlick comment;) Both look great!
Thank you!! You just confirmed an idea I had that I thought might have been a little too crazy…but apparently it wasn't! A fabric pumpkin in a turquoise/white damask pattern and orange leaves…thank you!! 🙂
You look cute Cass! I love that pairing, although for naturally brown Asian skin, it would make me look even browner ( is there even such a word?!)!!! LOL! I am into pinks with coral this summers, and now going into navy's and greens with white. I so love Zara too!
So so pretty! And I just love your shoes, too! 🙂 I seem to be wearing a lot of pink and stripes this summer. Love it!
What's this? Perfect prettiness??!! You could just slide over into the realm of fashion blogging you know. Got the bod, the face, hair, and the skills 🙂
Love that outfit and I have the exact same shoes. It's real bad for me because I have a Kohl's across the highway from my work among other dangerous store. eek!
Come help me with my clothes! Seriously, I need your skills!! You are so lovely, and these are some of my most favorite posts! 🙂
xo,
Jen
