Nordstrom Anniversary Sale | Sugarplum Essentials

Happy Wednesday, friends! First up, I’m thrilled you liked this month’s Sephora Haul (see it HERE), and that they’re helpful for you. I love hearing when you discover a new favorite product, plus, your recommendations are always spot-on. My Sephora cart is always full of new things I’m excited to try and share.

But today we’re talking sales…and not just any sale, but the biggest sale of the year…the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale! This annual event features all-new (mostly) Fall products that are released at up to 40% off, but for only a short time. Once the sale is over, prices will go to their regular full price. But friends don’t let friends pay full price, so that’s where I come in!

I look forward to the #NSale all year, and use it as an opportunity to stock-up on things I use year-round, update my closet staples, and even shop for Christmas gifts! The selection and prices are just too good to pass up.

To help you navigate the 1000’s of products available this year (preview the full sale HERE), I’ve combed through every single category and chosen the best of the best. I’ll be sharing more of them soon, but today is all about my Sugarplum Essentials!

These are my tried-and-true favorites, and things I fully-recommend…and all will be up to 40% off when the #NSale opens next week! one // Bliss Undies // We’re all friends here, right?! So we can talk about our undies! These are all I wear, and use the #NSale to grab new pairs every year. They are so soft and comfy, with no lines and no wedgies! They also wash well, and last for years.

two // Leopard Flat // Literally the only flat your closet needs…these leopard flats are chic and comfy, and go with absolutely everything. I wore mine ragged the last two years, so I’ll be grabbing a new pair at this crazy-low price!

three // Michele Sport Watch // I have this exact watch (an #NSale score from several years ago) and get asked about it all the time. I’m so excited to see it back this year, but at this price (especially for the brand!), it will sell-out fast. It’s sporty and sturdy, but wears well with dressier styles, too. I’ve had mine for years and it’s still good-as-new, and on the same battery.

four // Pink Mockneck Sweater // This was my favorite sweater last year…in fact, I had it in three colors by the end of the season. It’s a great length for jeans and trousers, is super-soft with great stretch, and a relaxed mock neck. The perfect, easy-to-wear fall sweater, and in a ton of great colors.

five // Ponte Leggings // I named these a Top Five Anniversary Sale Favorite last year, and they sold out in a single day. They fit like a legging, with a wide waistband and lots of stretch, but style like a pant thanks to their super-thick Ponte knit. They’re dark and opaque, and look darling with boots, flats or heels.

six // V-neck Tunic // My favorite cozy fleece tunic, now in new colors. I love the relaxed fit, deep v-neck, and soft brushed fleece. I wear it with jeans, joggers and pajamas. It’s super cute under a jacket, too.

seven // Best Bralette // I literally whooped out loud when I saw the True & Co bra in the #NSale lineup!! I’m completely OBSESSED with this bra, and will definitely be grabbing more colors while it’s on sale. It’s incredibly comfortable, with convertible, adjustable straps, with good support and coverage. Perfect for at-home or out-and-about.

eight // Scoopneck Tee // It’s hard to go wrong with this scoop neck pocket tee…it’s a top 5 seller every year, especially at the crazy-low #NSale price. It comes in a slew of colors, and is a soft, comfy fit.

nine // Olaplex Hair System // Hello, happy hair! You’ve heard me rave about the Olaplex Hair System for months, so you know I’ll grab this set of all my go-tos! It’s a savings of $42 on products I use year-round!

ten // Barefoot Dreams Circle Cardigan // Barefoot Dreams needs no introduction…and if you don’t have one yet, now is your chance! Literally the softest, most-comfortable cardi ever made. I wear mine daily around the house, and with jeans and boots in the Fall. This circle cardigan is my favorite of the bunch, and makes the perfect mom/sister gift. It’s my go-to gift for new moms or sick friends, too.

eleven // Eye Lash Growth Serum // I’m often asked if I have lash extensions (I don’t), when actually NeuLash is my secret weapon! I’ve been using this lash growth serum for years, and credit it with growing my natural lashes long and thick. I buy it once a year during the #NSale, and it lasts all year. A single swipe along my lash line every few days does the trick.

twelve // Plush Tassel Throw // I’ve lost count of the number of these throws I’ve gifted over the years…it’s literally the perfect gift for housewarming, holiday, teachers, just because…you name it! Plus, I always grab a new one for our house since it’s one of the coveted cozy blankets around here. It comes in a ton of colors, washes beautifully, holds it’s softness for years, and is an incredible price.

thirteen // Jersey Pajama Set // Mama Sugarplum got me hooked on these…they’re her faves for sure. Made of a lightweight jersey knit, they are cool and softer-than-soft. She grabs a new pair every year during the sale (her faves are the long-sleeve), and I’ll be grabbing the short-sleeve or maybe the shorts set.

fourteen // Chic Knit Blazer // If you’ve followed me for five minutes, then you’ve seen me wearing this knit blazer! I have it in black, white and pink (!!!) and could not love it more. The shape is chic and tailored, but it’s made of a thick and stretchy knit that’s as comfortable as it is cute. I instantly makes me feel pulled together for work or evenings out. Layered over a tank and jeans, with my favorite leopard flats, is my go-to Fall combo.

fifteen // Black Jeans // There are quite a few jeans included in this year’s #NSale, but these are the one pair I can assure you’ll love (and wear on repeat)! They fit and look like jeans, but feel like the most comfortable jeggings. They have a ton of stretch, hold their shape (no saggy bum!), and have the coveted Ab-Solution Panel that comfortably hold and flatter your shape. They’re the only black jeans I own!
