Nordstrom Anniversary Sale | Everybody Can Shop!

Hey friends… so sorry for the radio silence the last few days! Our travel home from Puerto Rico was a little more adventurous (and longer) than we’d expected, so I had a lot of catch-up to do! Plus, all the repairs are complete, so we were able to move back in our house!

The furniture was delivered yesterday, and I can’t even express how amazing it feels to have my house back to almost normal. Granted it will be awhile before I’ve got everything unpacked and back in place, but at least there’s a sofa to lounge while binging the new season of Ted Lasso, ha! #itsthelittlethings

But let’s move on to more exciting news… It’s Public Access Day for the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale… meaning everyone can now shop this epic sale event! (Nordstrom card not required!)

It’s one of only two or three sales I cover all year, and I love sorting through the 1000s of incredible deals, and sharing the very best with you! I strive to be a resource for you, and I hope my coverage has been helpful!

Chances are you’ve probably got your cart ready to go, but if you only buy one thing… let it be THIS!! I promise it’s the best $25 gift you’ll give yourself or anyone else! Seriously, everyone loves it!! It’s a Sugarplum top seller year-after-year for a reason!

Mama Sugarplum and I hit our local store early on (see our Dressing Room Diaries HERE and HERE), but there were several online sweaters I was excited to try, so I didn’t waste any time placing my order. These were the stand-out styles for me, styled with my favorite denim and shoe finds of the Sale.

Funnel Neck Sweater | High Waist Crop Skinny Jeans | Chain Mules | Hoop Earrings | Crossbody Bag

Super soft and stretchy, this funnel neck sweater falls to the hip, and comes in a range of colors… including this cute blush pink.

Fit Tip: I’m wearing XS

V-Neck Sweater | High Waist Crop Mom Jeans | Sneakers | Crossbody Bag

A top 2 sweater fave, this is a style I’ll live in all season (assuming it ever cools off enough!). It’s crazy soft and stretchy, with a nice oversized fit and deep v-neck. These jeans are actually comfortable, with a relaxed leg perfect for loafers and sneakers.

Fit Tip: Sweater runs large, I sized down to XXS. Jeans are true, I’m in a 2.

Turtleneck Sweater | High Waist Crop Skinny Jeans | Block Heel Booties | Hoop Earrings

Summer is my favorite season, until I slip on cozy pullovers like this… then I’m anxious for sweater season! So soft and oversized, with a loose cowl neck and large cuffs.

Fit Tip: I’m wearing an XS

I love the bright color and under $20 price tag of this sweater find! A cotton blend, it’s soft and warm, with a bit of a boxy fit and longer sleeves.

Cowl Neck Sweater | High Waist Crop Mom Jeans | Sneakers | Hoop Earrings

My other top find in the sweater department, they don’t come any cozier than this turtleneck! Made of a lightweight and stretchy knit, it’s oversized without being bulky… perfect with booties or sneakers. (I’m seriously beyond smitten with these sneakers! You won’t find a more comfortable street style!)

Fit Tip: Sweater runs large, I sized down to an XXS. Sneakers are true to size.

And of course I couldn’t do a cozy sweater round-up without including the coziest of them all… Barefoot Dreams! I adore both this shorter circle style and the longer drape style… wear them with denim or over your PJs, it’s sure to be a favorite this fall. And trust me, it makes the very best mom or mother-in-law gift!

Fit Tip: I wear an XS/S.ย

Can you share what happened with Puerto Rico? I’m going with my family in a week and a half— you have me worried! Thank you

Hi Sarah! I explained it in my IG Stories when we got back! Nothing was wrong *with* Puerto Rico, our pilot on the flight from Vieques to the mainland wasn’t able to fly us to the main airport for our scheduled trip, so we had to stay an extra night and rework all of our connecting flights! xo, C

There should be a SP post, just of travel mishaps.
Those missed connections! Once they brought the tunnel back to the gate and plane, opened the plane up, just so we could make that flight. Engine running! Yes, we were banging on the airport window, ha,ha. Or the time some airline employees gave up their seats for us to get home.
You got the prize from the Cracker Jack’s box, returning to a new home!
Excuse me while I check out the first four sweaters on this post! xo!
