Cheers to Friday, friends! We’ve had an awesome week in the mountains, celebrating Spring Break with my family. This is the first time my kids have ever experienced real snow, and watching them learn to ski and sled has been so fun! My sister and her new husband (see their gorgeous river wedding here) have been the best hosts, and even taught the kids to ski!
We were sad to say goodbye to them yesterday, but waking up here helped! I can’t wait to explore this area and share the pics with you. Today on the blog, we’re wrapping up this week’s {Five Ways} Winter Neutrals with the most comfortable of the bunch, and an outfit I’ve worn several times this week on our trip. It’s just hard to beat my favorite leggings and boots.
Style Tip: When layering tops with leggings, vary the lengths to avoid adding more bulk to your backend. But make sure one of the layers is long enough to cover the lady bits!
Pretend it’s totally normal for me to be hanging off an 18-wheeler, and focus on the plaid and leopard combo. 😉
This is also my favorite post of the week because of the images my son captured…he’s become quite the bossy opinionated photographer, and I just went along with his direction. It makes me so happy to see him grow and gain self-confidence in his interests. And if it happens to help me out with the blog, then double bonus! 😉

I hope you’ve enjoyed this week’s Neutral Styles as much as I loved putting them together. Now pass me the pink! Happy weekend, lovebugs!
What fun to have your son take the pictures! He is very talented! Loved the neutral looks this week but with spring around the corner bring on the color!
