Good morning loves! Is anyone else as bleary-eyed as me this ridiculously early Monday morning?! Why, oh why, is Halloween on a school/work night?!? I think it should be like Thanksgiving and always fall on the same day of the week….like the last Saturday in October. Someone get on that, okay?
Despite the late bedtime, we had a fabulous night. We had a small party for the kids and their friends, so Mr. Sugarplum pimped out a Pumpkin King to greet them:

Yes, he already owned that suit….and I spy my favorite leopard pumps too!!!!
The kids were a great audience for all my ‘themey’ food:
My son was so excited about everything he actually helped! The drink labels were his favorite part:

Thanks to Kate for posting those fun drink labels!
Here is the only shot I got of my trick-or-treaters standing still:

Of course I had to throw a craft in too! I love when a party table has different levels of height, so I made a new cake platter and bowl (hence the second part of my post title):
Ikea has those fabulous candleholders for 49 cents…and they make great bases. I simply applied a thin ring of super glue around the edge of the candleholder, then gently placed the bowl or plate (also under $1 at Ikea!) on top. I think I’ll be making more of these for the holidays….especially since they were each under $2! Score!
So how was your night? Are you still sugar-buzzing, or have you crashed and burned like me? Have you already left Halloween in your dust and you’ve moved on to freaking out about Thanksgiving?

These are fantastic! This looks like the best Halloween celebration ever! And great costumes for your kiddos!

So cute! Looks like you guys had a blast! 🙂
I am exhausted too! Halloween is fun, but a lot of work. Your party looked like a blast!
Yes! On to Thanksgiving (and Christmas!) for sure:) Your party looks amazing! You really outdid yourself with the treats and decor. Your kiddos look so cute in their costumes! I'm sure "cute" isn't what your son was going for though:)
Looks like everyone had a great time. Love the ghoulish spread! And the DIY glass pieces… love! And, yes, I'm exhausted. Too many holidays jammed together!!
All your goodies look awesome! Love your daughter's socks, LOL. We didn't have as many kids as usual, guess being a Sunday AND a school night kept some from being out. Halloween didn't do me, the trip with our youngest to the ER at 3am for a migraine sure did though. She's much better now, thankfully!
And yes, on to Thanksgiving and Christmas…my favorite time of the year!!
You rocked Halloween!! Everything looks fantastic. I'm loving that pumpkin King's shoes, haha.
GREAT idea with the platters – I just might have to try that!
Wow, woman! No wonder you're tired. So many wonderful things at your party! Did you make those cupcakes? Super cute. All I busted out with was the drink labels. Your children are darling. Happy Monday . . . hope the fog is lifting 🙂
Thanksgiving? HA! I have pulled down the Christmas decorations today to see what we have and what we need… but then again I am missing a week of decorating time due to our kid free week in disney 🙂
Your kids are so cute, and I want a webby cake!!!
Your kids look so cute in their costumes! The platter and bowl look great — such a clever idea! I am over Halloween and have already started looking into various recipes for Thanksgiving!
What a wonderful Halloween spread! I think I went to the wrong party (: The kiddos are too cute. I was a ballerina probably close to 4 or 5 times (: Yes, bring on Thanksgiving and even Christmas, too! My favorite!
Oh what fun Cassie! I wish I could have been at YOUR house! Your kids are sooooo cute! So glad they loved the labels!
