Loving Lately

Happy Tuesday, friends! It’s been a whirlwind week around here! We moved Sloan into her dorm, and the next day she began the fun, exciting, and stressful week of rush!

If you or your babes have ever experienced sorority rush, you know it is an absolute roller coaster of emotions… joy, stress and disappointment all in one. Fortunately, Sloan had a great rush experience, and while it certainly was not void of stress and tears, she landed in the best place for her!

Fortunately, OU invites and encourages families to come to Bid Day, so I was able to witness the joyful experience yesterday! I’m so grateful she’s in such a great place, and feel true peace in leaving her here today. She’s in good hands, and she’s ready! But man am I going to miss that sweet, funny, little firecracker!!

And after weeks of dreading her move and the drop-off, and the anxiety of rush, I’m honestly relieved to have it behind us! Now we can focus on the fun times to come… starting with a celebratory getaway next week, ha!

Today Iโ€™ve got a new Loving Lately post for you, a round-up things I’ve ordered lately that have become part of the regular rotation around here. I thought you might find some new faves, too.

1. Adhesive Shower Shelves // I grabbed these to organize our guest room shower, and was so instantly smitten I immediately ordered them for every bathroom in the house. Such a simple thing, but they hold so much and bring instant order to an otherwise cluttered space. We even have uneven and textured tile, and these stick like a charm! They come in a few different finishes, too.

2. Wicker Baskets // I ordered these baskets for Sloan’s dorm room, and was so impressed by the size and quality… especially given the price! I already ordered more sets to use for stylish storage in the bathroom, book shelves, and other random spots around the house.

3. Argan Oil Hair Mask // This is one of those products that blows your mind after a single use. It will transform your hair to smooth, shiny and silky, and youโ€™ll wonder how in the world itโ€™s so affordable! With all the time spent in the sun, salt water, and chlorine, this mask is a must for bringing softness and hydration back to my hair. I also use it on damp hair before getting in the water for a barrier from the elements.

4. Designer-Inspired Throw Blanket // I’ve never seen the Hermes throw in person, but I can tell you this one looks really, really good! Plus, it’s soft and cozy, so not only is it incredibly stylish on the back of a chair, but great for curling up with, too. I have both the khaki and orange colors, and love them both.

5. AirEssentials Dress // You know our favorite Spanx sets? In their unbelievable AirEssentials fabric?! Well they also make dresses in this luxe material! Theyโ€™re both sporty and flattering, and beyond comfortable… and it’s been my uniform lately. I love the sporty meets preppy style, and code CASSIEXSPANX saves you 10%.

6. Toe Strap Sandals // Aren’t these sandals so chic?! Would you believe they’re from Target? I don’t normally love a toe sandal, but these are actually comfortable and the toe part doesn’t bother me at all. In fact, I wore them in Italy and France (see my outfits HERE), and they were the perfect, chic sandal for so many styles.

7. Love Bracelet // Another fun designer-inspired style, this bangle has Cartier style on an Amazon budget! I’ve ordered a few of these over the years, and this one has a really great tone, and has the perfect size for my smaller wrist for an authentic ‘love bracelet’ fit. See more of my Look-for-Less finds HERE.

8. Patterned Midi Dress // I discovered these look-for-less dresses in the spring, and truly cannot get enough of the fun, bold prints and easy, breezy silhouettes! Some take a little longer to arrive, but the price and style are more than worth it! This one has a smocked panel on the back for a comfy fit and adjustable straps. They arenโ€™t sheer at all, and they launder easily.

9. Ninja Ice Cream Maker // After months of begging from Sloan, I finally caved and jumped on the Ninja Creami bandwagon. It took a few batches to get the hang of it, but weโ€™ve been having so much fun playing with different healthy recipes & sweet treats! It truly turns simple ingredients into the softest, creamiest ice cream!

10. CR Illuminating Eye Cream // This Brightening Eye Cream was released last year, and became an instant sell-out! In fact, the wait list was over 15,000! Itโ€™s a daily eye cream and brightener in one, with hyaluronic acid to smooth lines and wrinkles, caffeine to combat puffiness, and pearlized pigments to add instant brightening! I rarely even wear concealer anymore, thanks to this miracle eye cream! Code SUGARPLUM20 will save you 20%, too!

11. Pajama Set // Under $20, but just as good as any department store set! I’m reaching for it more than any other lately.

12. Collapsible Moving Bags // I can’t stress this enough… these bags are CLUTCH for moving! They hold a TON, can be carried as a backpack, fold down to nothing, and easily stack in the car (or can be even checked on the plane!). More dorm essentials & design HERE.

Okay, thatโ€™s a pretty random mix of what I’ve been loving lately. Whatโ€™s sitting in your cart, or something youโ€™ve ordered and loved lately? Find my latest Dressing Room Diaries HERE, some dorm room essentials and design HERE, and some recent orders HERE. Happy Tuesday, lovebugs!

I remember my daughter mentioning Sorority, and I said “I’m not paying for that!” It turned into such a great investment. The wonderful lifelong friends/connections she made, the great community service experiences, leadership roles, everything. So happy for Sloan! : ))
Ok, technical question-ready to hit the buy button for the Ninja Creami. Thanks for re-posting it. Do you have to add sugar to the recipes in order for them to work? Super curious about this. Thank u! xo.
