Five days to Christmas, friends!! I’m hoping to wrap up the final loose ends this weekend, so we can relax and really soak in the spirit of the season together as a family. The days before Christmas are actually my favorite… the excitement and anticipation are so fun, and I’m thrilled for Sloan to be home for a few weeks.
She had her wisdom teeth removed Monday, so it’s been a slow week around here with lots of caretaking and mashed potatoes. I’d forgotten just how brutal that procedure can be, bless her little swollen face heart!
Once she’s back to solid food, we’ll be making Christmas Crack (find that addicting recipe HERE), building gingerbread houses, checking out neighborhood lights, and streaming all our holiday favorite movies (‘Family Stone’ is mine). It’s a full-blown Christmas frenzy!
