Fun & Affordable Summer Finds (aka My Target Haul!)

*This post is created in collaboration with Target and ShopStyle, but all product selections, styling, and Target addictions are my own. Thank you for supporting Hi Sugarplum sponsors.*

Happy Tuesday from the University of Oklahoma! My son and I drove up last night for new student orientation today. I’m headed home tomorrow, but he’ll stay for a few days learning the ropes of being a college freshman. Hard as I try, this train is not slowing down!

I was standing in line behind a young family yesterday, and remembered being in that stage of life…naively thinking we had all the time in the world with our little squishy munchkins! I swear there’s a whole decade lost somewhere…It’s as if my son went from 8 to 18 overnight!

But let’s get to today’s post…one I think you’ll love! I’ve been sharing affordable finds from different retailers this summer, and my Target Haul has been the most popular. So today I’m bringing you more adorable, and affordable, finds from Target!

Sugarplum Sizing: I’m 5’4″, 120 pounds, and my standard size is XS/0 and a 26 jean.

The Who What Wear line is one of my favorites for their bright colors and bold patterns. This blue and black floral is so vibrant, and I love the ruffle detail at the neck and sleeve. The breathable woven material is lightweight and soft, perfect for summer. Pair it with black trousers for work, too!

Fit Tip: I’m wearing an XS, but would size up if in-between for a little more room in the armpit.

Floral Ruffle Trim Top

The same print is also available in this breezy wrap dress! The longer sleeves have a little cuff, and the belted waist creates a flattering silhouette for all body types. There’s even pockets and a front snap to keep the top together.

Fit Tip: I’m wearing an XS, but would recommend sizing down one if you’re not busty.

Floral Wrap Shirt Dress | Sandals

This bold leaf pattern is my other current fave from the Who What Wear line. The brown and black are so striking, and the puff sleeves a fun detail. It’s a linen-blend with a keyhole button on the back.

I’ve paired them with the matching shorts for a fun set, but the pieces are darling styled separately, too. The shorts are the same linen-blend, with a pull-on elastic waist and front tie.

Fit Tip: I’m wearing a small in the top, but need an XS. The shorts are XS…so both are true to size.

Leaf Print Top | Tie Waist Shorts

How cute is the top worn with white jeans?! You could style it for work with trousers or even under a blazer, too.

Leaf Print Top

You can never have too much leopard, and this woven blouse is a great work and weekend piece. Wear it with trousers and skirts, under a blazer, or even with jeans or shorts.

Fit Tip: I’m wearing an XS

Leopard Top | Sandals

I love the feminine detail of this double ruffle top, and the red and white leaf print is so fresh for summer. Wear it alone, or pair it with the matching skirt for a bold set. The print is also available in a fun tank dress, too.

Fit Tip: I’m wearing XS

Ruffled Leaf Print Top

Wild Fable is a new-to-me Target brand…they offer great basics with a youthful twist, and trendy pieces. This utility romper is a crisp cotton with elastic and drawstring waist, and fun snap front. The sleeves and hem are cuffed, and the inseam not too short. I popped the collar for some personality, but you can wear it down.

Fit Tip: I’m wearing an XS

Target is also the graphic tee jackpot…there are so many darling styles! These are a few of my faves, both super soft cotton. These long inseam shorts have been in heavy rotation for me this summer, and they’re now on clearance for $13!

Fit Tip: I’m wearing an XS in both tees, and size 2 shorts.

Camo V-Neck Tee (only $6!)

A New Day is my go-to brand for great, quality basics and dressier styles. This striped tee comes in a slew of colors and is a super-soft, stretchy fit. I paired it with a fun jean skirt with raw hem. It’s extra-stretchy, too, with a comfortable mid-rise.

Fit Tip: I’m wearing an XS tee and size 2 skirt

It may be 100-degrees out, but I couldn’t resist this fun camo sweatshirt! A classic crewneck fit with exposed seams, it’s cute with jeans or joggers, and an amazing price!

And finally, the reader favorite from my last Target Haul, this jersey knit jumpsuit is now under $25! I’m grabbing the gray one! So cute with a jean jacket, and perfect for travel days!

So many cute finds, right?! I also adore this beaded bag and oversized straw tote. And have you seen the Opalhouse Collection?! Every single piece is adorable!

We’ve been doing some dorm room prep at Target, too (find everything and great ideas here), along with great finds for our patio here. Okay, what’s your favorite piece from this round of Target Finds? What Target brand gets you every time?

You’re both going to be “ok” w/the off to college thing, more so for your son, ha,ha! When you discover how happy and thriving he is, you’ll feel better. They get super busy, so don’t expect a call home everyday. Thank God for text, Skype, etc. Get all your dorm $tuff now, it sells out and shelves are empty when move in day arrives.
Some great style here.Target has really upped their game. Keep me out of there!

I’m loving the Opalhouse stuff, too! I’d love to see you style a bedroom for a tween girl from that collection. My 10 year-old is begging for a deep teal bedroom re-do. I know you could pull that bold look together beautifully!
