First up, holy frijoles you guys! I was seriously so touched by your extraordinarily kind words to yesterday’s post! I read and re-read them, and was just blown away by your thoughtfulness. Creating and sharing with y’all is one of my greatest joys, and I’m beyond thrilled you find inspiration here. I’ll keep cranking it out as long as you’re reading!
Obviously I spend an obscene amount of time online, and cute things are always catching my eye…especially the great deals. And with warmer weather here to stay, I can’t help but seek out new Summer goodies! Here are a few I’m crushing on recently, and all under $50!
one // I love a soft, easy-to-wear tee in the warmer months, especially a relaxed fit! I haven’t seen it in person yet, but this one had me tassels.
two // I was beginning to think this would be a romperless-Summer…until I spotted this tie-front cutie! It’s already on the way to me, so I’ll review it for you soon. (I typically need to size up in this brand.)
three // We spend most of our Summer in the pool, which means my swimsuits take a lot of chlorine abuse, so I prefer to stick with affordable suits so I don’t feel so bad when they only last a single season! I love the classic, full-coverage of these bottoms, paired with the feminine ruffle top. Might make for an interesting tan line though.
four // Warm evenings are for sundresses, and I typically leave my big bag at home in favor of smaller clutches. This colorblock is so fresh with an unexpected combo of hues.
five // I can’t decide if these pom sandals are the most impractical or cutest shoe every created. I fawn over them every time I see them, and these are the most-affordable version I’ve seen yet.
six // This bag has made my Faves Under $50 list before…great for travel as a carry-on, or your everyday carry-all, and now in this fun pale blue, perfect for bright, sunny days.
seven // Easiest way to jazz up a sundress? Statement earrings. Want to add some sass to your shorts and tee? Statement earrings. These come in a slew of colors and are so lightweight. I think they’d be pretty smashing teacher gifts, too!
eight // Now that it’s officially backyard season, I’m turning my attention to freshening up our Screened Porch, and new outdoor pillows are on the top of my list. I love this blue and green combo paired with the stripes!
nine // Hello, Sunshine to you! I’m such a sucker for fresh, new tea towels! They make such lovely gifts, too…especially when paired with something yummy.
ten // Does your family live on cereal and ice cream? Hopefully that’s not just us! These bowls are the perfect size, and so pretty stacked on the shelf.
Speaking of teacher gifts, ours are getting this fan-favorite necklace this year. I even picked one up from the birthstone collection for the principal, since it’s our last year at the Elementary School. It’s hard to believe we’ve been part of that school family for 11 years. This tassel pendant is a great budget-friendly option, too, and on sale for $12!
Oh, and the huge Nordstrom Half-Yearly Sale kicks off today, so there’s a whole slew of goodies on sale under $50! What great deals have you spotted lately?
See you back here tomorrow for a huge Dressing Room Diaries, and a round-up of my top Memorial Day sales!
*Thank you, Sadie, for being my collage-designing-guru on this one!! You saved me! xo*
I love the bag – the pale blue shade is lovely!

How old is too old to wear a bikini? I’ll be 45 in a few short weeks! I’m not ready for my mother’s bathing suit, but I don’t want to look like I’m stealing from my teenager. Help!
I started asking myself that a few years ago, and even got my first ‘mom suit.’ But I never felt comfortable in it, and even my kids were like ‘What are you wearing?!’ So I say, wear the suit you’re most comfortable in…until you’re no longer comfortable, then make a change! xo
I LOVE that pale blue tote! And I can’t believe the price! I think I’ll be picking one up for the summer!

For the past 10 years, I have splurged on a JCrew swimsuit each year and every single one still looks brand new. They don’t stretch, they don’t fade…they’re full coverage (pear shape over here!) and they’re worth every penny!
I agree, Kathryn! They’re worth every penny and last for years.
Agreed!! I usually wait for a sale, then grade a J.Crew suit….but also save those for days at the beach, or when we’re around ‘other people’ 😉 The inexpensive suits are great for the everyday in our own backyard. xo
Those Pottery Barn bowls are so pretty. I think they’d make my ice cream and cereal addictions feel so much fancier. 🙂
Can I have one of each? I’ve been eyeing those pom pom sandals and think it’s time to treat myself 🙂
I have the colorful version of the pom sandals you listed and, let’s just say…they are definitely for looking cute – not for a lot of walking! The leather laces tend to slide down and cause you to stop and re-group. But, they are super duper cute!!!
I love Street Level bags. I have a few of them and they are my favorites.
I can’t wait for another dressing room diary! Definitely my favorite part of your blog. Everything looks so much cuter on you than it does online!
I’ve been eyeing those sandals, too! So cute! If you get them let us know what you think.
I am so sad the espadrilles are no longer available. I have tried to get then for 2 months.
