Beach Bound

That’s right baby… Mr. SP and I are beach bound this morning! Our trip was originally scheduled last month, but was derailed by a house full of Covid. And this time, crazy winter storm Landon tried to cancel our plans!

We were actually scheduled to leave tomorrow, but the airline moved us up to beat the storm. I’m a little sad to miss the snow, but I think I’ll get over it once my toes hit the sand. I’m not gonna lie though, I’m a little anxious about a repeat of last February!

I mean, I love my new floors and all, but I’m not trying to have a repeat of that $hitshow! Fingers crossed the Texas power grids hold up.

Mr. SP and I are running off for a few days of fun and relaxation, and I’m beyond excited for the time to rest and reconnect together! (We usually head to one of my favorite places, but they’re closed for renovations, so we’re trying a new spot some of you recommended. I’ll be sure to report back!)

Life is busy, and it’s hard to keep our marriage at the top of the priority list, so I’m so grateful we’re able to get away like this. They’re like a crash-course in marriage therapy! It’s not always easy to make them happen, but always 100% worth it!
