Cheers to Friday, friends, and the weekend ahead. The first week of school was a smooth one, but definitely felt long! I know we’re all going to need a minute to regain our school-year stamina, so the weekend couldn’t come soon enough!
I’m sure there will be some sleeping-in tomorrow, and Sunday we’re shooting the kid’s annual Back-to-School post with J.Crew Factory. It’s always one of my favorite posts, and I love that I have this blog as a scrapbook to look back over most of their school years! Stay tuned for their cute faces in that new post soon. (See the previous posts here.)
Today I’m excited to share some new fashion finds from Amazon. Y’all went a little cuckoo for my first Amazon haul post last month, and it was an overwhelming YES when asked if you wanted me to feature them regularly.
It takes a lot digging to find the good stuff on Amazon, and I certainly try-on more misses than hits (tons of things never make it to the blog!)…but there are definitely fashion gems at amazing prices to be found, along with that infamous Amazon fast, free shipping and returns.
Sidenote: If you’d like to see more of these Amazon posts, please consider not shopping the post via their app when on your phone/tablet. Not only does it not credit the sale to me (so only Amazon benefits), but it keeps me from seeing what you like most! Thank you for considering this option.
Cotton Convertible Sundress | Woven Bag c/o | Tassel Charm | Wedge Sandal | Earrings | Sunglasses
I was a little skeptical upon ordering this sundress…after all, it’s only $20! But my only disappointment is that it’s not offered in more colors! It’s a crisp, lightweight cotton (but not sheer) with a full skirt and elastic smocked top.
The stretchy straps attach with buttons in the front and back, allowing you to wear it strapless, traditional, or crossed like I have it. The skirt is just full enough to give it a true fit-and-flare shape, but not poofy.
Fit Tip: I’m wearing a small, but really need it in an XS.
Watch | Nail Polish ‘Pink Agate’ | Woven Bag c/o | Tassel Charm
Isn’t the color so perfect? I’d add a jean jacket for early Fall, and even wear it with sneakers for a sportier style. The midi length hits just below my knee (I’m 5’4″). I added more pops of color with earrings and my favorite bag charm (it clips on, so I transfer it to whatever bag I’m carrying).
It definitely passes the ‘dancing test’, so it’s a keeper. These wedges have been in heavy rotation this season, see them styled several more ways here.

Okay, moving on to more fun finds from this month’s Amazon fashion haul!
This top is hands-down my favorite! I adore the crisp cotton and ruffle sleeve, but it’s the back that steals the show!! It comes in several colors, even deeper tones so you can wear it later in the season.
Fit Tip: It’s true to size, I’m wearing an XS.
Cotton Poplin Bow-Back Top | Cuffed Jeans | Sandals
This gingham is another winner, and had me swooning over the peplum detail and high-low hem. It’s a sturdy, non-stretchy material that buttons in the back. It also comes in the cutest seersucker stripe!
Fit Tip: It runs small, I’m wearing a small.
Gingham Top | Frayed Hem Jean | Sandals
I feel like I hit the jackpot with embellished tops this go-round! I’m not usually one for bell-sleeves (that whole ‘dragging your arm through the salsa bowl’ concern), so was surprised by how much I adored this one! The sleeves are fitted through the arm with an exaggerated bell at the wrist…but the perfect cropped length to stay out of your food!
I love the lace detail across the chest and upper arm, and the body is a crisp cotton in a slight swing shape. I’d pair the with leopard heels for a night out, or with shorts and sandals…so versatile!
Fit Tip: It runs a little small…I’m wearing an XS and the upper arms feel too tight.
Bell Sleeve Lace Top | Frayed Hem Jean | Sandals
This top is super comfy, with a knit tee body, but kicks it up in the style department with the tiered lace hem. Add a statement necklace or earring and you’re set for a night out, too!
Fit Tip: I’m wearing an XS, but if you’re in-between or busty, I’d go up one.
Lace Peplum Tee | Cuffed Jeans | Sandals
You know I love me some ric-rac, so of course was smitten for this woven top! The ruffle sleeves are two layers, each trimmed in ric-rac, and the length is perfect for wearing out, or tucking. I’d dress this up for work with a pencil skirt, too. (The sleeves needed steaming, they actually lay a little smoother.)
Fit Tip: Size up, I’m wearing a small.
Ric Rac Ruffle Sleeve Top | Cuffed Jeans | Sandals
This top has sweetness written all over it. It’s a crisp cotton that’s lightweight, but not too sheer. I has a lot of special details like ruffle sleeve and pleating across the chest. I’d love it with cropped jeans and loafers in the Fall, too.
Fit Tip: It runs small, I’m wearing an XS and it’s a little snug across the shoulders.
Pleated Cotton Top | Cuffed Jeans | Sandals
I’m on the fence about this color for me, but the top is such a fun one I wanted to share. It’s a cotton-linen blend with ruffled sleeves and neck. The descriptor says ’embroidered’, but the floral is actually printed on (not in a weird way, it’s just not true embroidery). But for $20, we’ll let it go!
It comes in a ton of colors and patterns, and such a versatile top for dressing up and down.
Fit Tip: Size up, I’m wearing a small.
Ruffle Trim Floral Top | Frayed Hem Jean | Sandals
Moving on to workout wear…Amazon is quickly becoming my fave spot for finding amazing tops and bottoms for exercising (and lounging). I like to wear the lightest possible tops when I exercise, but still stay fully covered, and these yoga tanks are perfect. So soft and flowy, with just enough exposed skin. (Only $11, or a 3-pack for $24!)
The leggings are the perfect blend of thick and stretchy, but not constricting. I don’t like any sort of compression in my leggings, and these keep everything in place, without creating a struggle to pull them on. They’re opaque enough to wear as street leggings, too!
Fit Tip: Both are true to size, I’m wearing XS
Yoga Tank | High-Waist Leggings
Y’all loved the one-piece swimsuit from last month, but I had some requests for a bikini…and this was definitely my favorite from the batch (I tried about 20!). It’s similar to a popular designer style, but for a fraction of the cost. It’s fully-lined with padded cups and adjustable straps.
It’s a traditional swimsuit lycra material, but the bottoms are a tad lower than my usual styles.
Fit Tip: I’m wearing a small…but I always size up in swimwear.
And finally, I’m not much of a kimono girl, but I do like how they look as swimsuit cover-ups! This one isn’t too long, and has a fun pineapple and palm leaf print. (Tons more patterns available.)
Fit Tip: I’m wearing an XS
Scallop Trim Swimsuit | Palm Kimono
I also found this crossbody bag, which looks very expensive in person, and these amazing $10 aviators. I’ve already ordered this dress and this cozy pullover for our next post!
As for our random Amazon orders…last month they included an electric toothbrush, a messenger bag for our next trip, a new insulated lunch box for Little Miss, and this card game we can’t seem to stop playing! What have you ordered from Amazon lately? What’s your favorite fashion find from this month?

Who’s the college chick in the super cute black swimsuit? Ha,ha. It’s a good thing you have a pool, b’cuz u find the cutest swimwear!
If you like card games then you need to play Taco Cat Goat Cheese Pizza. I promise everyone in your family will love it. It’s fast paced and hilarious!
I can never find anything nice on Amazon UK but it’s funny how different they look in person. you really suit the top you’re not sure about 🙂
I really love everything you pick, but hat the Amazon sizing. The Rick rack top is my favorite, but an XL is an 8 and I would need a 10 or a 12. Do you know how accurate the sizing is? You said to size up but not sure if I sized up to an XL if it would even fit.
I did get the purse though!
Some of these tops are frustrating with the sizing!! I have to try several usually to know what’s needed. I could wear my usual size in that particular top, but it pulled a little across my shoulders. So I’s size up one from what you normally wear (not based on their size range). Does that make sense?
Love seeing your picks Cassie! I’ve spent a lot of time browsing dresses and swimsuits on Amazon lately (already had the scalloped bikini in my cart), but hesitate in buying due to the excessive returns policy. I’ve read that if Amazon, using an algorithm, decides a customer has made too many returns, they are banned for life, lose any gift card balances, and lose any books on Kindles. Since it’s hard to come up with the right fit from reading size charts, I’m hesitant to order and than have to return for another size. Do you have a contact at Amazon you can ask about this, specifically in terms of buying clothes? Would be so helpful, thanks and please keep sharing your finds!
Oh wow, I hadn’t heard any of that!! That’s one of the things I like so much about shopping Amazon, is the liberal return policy. I’ve returned quite a bit (probably more than the average person), and haven’t had any issues with my account. But I’ll see if I can get anything official!
You’re a brave woman to wear a teeny bikini online. But you look fabulous! I did find a boatload of straw fedoras on Amazon that might even fit my giant noggin…
Cassie you look like a million bucks!! The card game suggestion sounds like fun and the taco cat goat pizza game suggestion from Marla sounds like crazy fun!!!!!
I love a couple of the tops but am disappointed that the xlarge is a size 8. When did xlarge become so small, seriously? I typically wear a 10-12 which is usually considered a large…
The sizing on some of the tops is definitely skewed, making it hard to know what to get! Hopefully these posts make it helpful in determining. I’ll be more mindful of looking for items with broader range of sizing, too! xo
I’ve ordered tons of clothing from Amazon and it can be hit or miss, however, I have found some fabulous bargains and always get lots of compliments. The return policy is key. I always make sure I read what the return policy is for each vendor. That way, I know ahead of time if I can return it if it doesn’t fit. I have never had a problem with returns. I love the tops you chose! Cute!
I ordered the black lace top, and while it looks adorable on you(!) I seized up to a medium for the length and it seriously looked like a maternity top. It’s very cute but I would say only in those who can wear the XS.
Thanks for these posts, I love the accessibility of amazon.
I bought the blue sundress from Amazon for an outdoor wedding. It was perfect for the occasion and fit well in my size…I was happily surprised to find ties beneath the first layer of the dress that allow you to bustle it into a shorter version of the dress. Even more versatile than I thought. Thanks for the recommendation!
