{Babygirl’s Room} It’s a Throw (pillow) Down!

Thanks for the love on my No-Sew Pillows yesterday! Did you notice I didn’t photograph any of them too close-up? You might not have been as complementary if I had. Are they sell-able? Negative! Are they perfect for me and an almost 5-year-old?! Heck yeah!

Now for how the pillows look in their new home! First up, the bed fit for a princess…

I love the fun dots and modern geometric against the antique lines of the bed.

My girl has already started styling the bed with her personal favorites. I think Fancy Nancy definitely approves of this bed!

Next was making the Art Corner a comfy place to encourage reading and creating.

The large black & white pillow is an Ikea find that was too good to pass up, and adds more playful pattern. I mixed countless patterns in this room, but kept to a small color palette so the room would have cohesiveness.

The Ikea sheepskin throw just makes the corner more indulgent and wallow-inducing! Creating a room for a little girl comes with a lot of creative freedom!

She loves her monogrammed tins of markers and colored pencils, and we’ve already had some good times playing ‘restaurant’ and ‘teacher’ with the clipboard and converted lap desk.

She also loved her Heart Garland too much to part with after Valentine’s Day, so it’s hanging on the chalkboard now. Here’s my funny, quirky girl…hanging out in her special corner (in a bathing suit and blue-hair headband!?!)!

Ssssh! Genius at work! And if you’re super observant, you may realize I made 5 pillows, but you only see 4 pictured….some things have to wait for the final reveal! But I will tell you it’s in one of my favorite spot in the room! Are you starting to have faith that I may finish this space?!?
