Cheers to Friday, and a hopefully gorgeous weekend ahead! It’s been buckets of rain for the last week (not anything like our friends in Houston, though!), so we’re ready for some sun and the chance to get outside. I’m celebrating an early Mother’s Day with my mom and daughter tomorrow…we’re having ‘high tea’ at a cute little spot, so I’m planning on wearing a ‘room for dessert’ dress like this one or this one! #outfitpriorities
For today’s Fashion Friday, I’m sharing a fresh color combo I’ve been loving lately, and styling it for both Work and Weekend!
I knew because of the price tag, this roomie tote wasn’t real leather…but it looks and feels so real in person, I actually had to read the tag to be sure! Some white bags can look cheap, but this is a really rich shade of ivory, and the cognac handles add even more of a luxury brand feel.
Obviously any color handbag or shoe would work with a white dress, but a blush bag has such a chic feel. And the outfit is especially elegant when worn with leg-lengthening nude wedges or sandals.
Style Tip: Bright or dark pink is a fun tone-on-tone combination with blush, so try adding these sandals or this jacket (on sale!) to your blush and white outfit!
As you can see, I’m still working the self-tan (read my tips here), but I’m ready for the real deal! Oh, and thanks so much for the love on our Bonus Room Makeover yesterday! I wish I could have you all over for movie night.
