I’m thrilled you guys are excited about the White Tee series this week, because it may be my favorite {5 Ways) to date! If you missed Day 1, check out my pairing with a gorgeous pleated floral skirt here. Today, we’re taking the white tee to work, or out on the town, by pairing it with a casual blazer…but it may actually be upstaged by the world’s most flattering jeans!
Don’t get me wrong, I love my skinny jeans…but really there’s no more flattering fit than a bootcut with dark rinse. And the mid-rise of these elongate the legs even more. (I don’t look only 5’4″ with a long torso in these, do I?!)
Fit Tip: The jeans are soft with a good amount of stretch…and the mid-rise waist means nothing is hanging out. #ifyouknowwhatImsaying I’m wearing a Regular 2, and the length is perfect for heels, but petite sizing is available if you prefer a shorter inseam. I could have probably sized down, but I think these look best when they aren’t pulling or stretched.
I love the monochromatic feel of the black and white, but the color blocked clutch and peek of leopard give the outfit an extra kick.
The white tee gives the whole outfit an air of laid-back cool, but the blazer and jeans still say, ‘I mean business!’ The neckline of the tee, and pushed-up sleeves, shows just enough skin to keep the outfit from being stuffy, too.
Have you worn bootcut jeans in awhile? They always remind of that show, ‘What Not To Wear’…Clinton and Stacey put everyone in dark rinse, mid-rise, bootcut jeans! But there’s a reason for it…they’re pretty much universally flattering!

Great look! I still love boot cut jeans for all the reasons you outlined.
You look 6 feet tall! Wow, this is a great look on you!
ha!! I may not take these jeans off all Fall and Winter long!! 😉
Great classic chic outfit! I have that blazer in tan and it is a great way to dress up an outfit but still feel completely comfortable.
Agreed…and the little pleats in the back are too-cute-for-words! xo
Gurl….you are rocking those jeans, and yes you do look much taller! Love this white tee series Cassie!
LEGS. FOR. DAYS.
Love this outfit. There is nothing more flattering than boot cut jeans. I am not a fan of straight leg, even tho I have 4 pair. Have a great week.
Haha!! Right?! I have a closet of skinny, ankle-length jeans…but love these better than them all!!
What size are you wearing in the blazer! Your sizing always seems to be spot on for me! Thanks!
I'm wearing an XS…it's a stretchy-knit material, so has some wiggle room in the sizing. xo
Thank you sharing this outfit idea. Love your blog!
Thank YOU for your sweet comment!! xo
That blazer is precious! Sadly, it is only available in small and XS. Love the outfit though!
You look all legs!
Love, love, love! This is my kind of outfit for sure! 🙂 Looks great on you as always 🙂
I am loving this series as I have no fewer than 9 white tees in my closet! I also splurged on some Current Elliott boot cut jeans this past weekend and bought the James Perse sweatshirt material blazer at NSale so this was the perfect post for today! Can't wait for it to cool down and wear! Love it!!!
Love your style, you look great.
Where is your necklace from?
Thanks so much!! I updated the post with the necklace link, or you can find it here: http://bit.ly/2bmJf0O
So, so cute!! This makes me so excited for Fall to hurry up and get here already!
Very nice ensemble!!
Love the shoes. Wish I could find that perfect leopard print. The back of the jacket is great, very flattering
May be one of my fave looks ever….easy but classy!
