White Jeans | Plaid & Puffer Vest

Today we’re continuing the {5 Ways} series around white jeans after Labor Day, and this outfit is packing a bright punch! (See Day 1 with stripes and a military jacket here, and Day 2 with white on white here). This combo is speaking my preppy love language, but the leopard and booties keep it from being too sweet.

Pearls and crystal jewels are an unexpected juxtaposition to otherwise masculine prints like plaid and herringbone, and give the outfit a little more staying power. I’d even pair this full outfit with black rainboots or riding boots, similar to this look.

I sang the praises of these white jeans here, and am thrilled to hear so many of you have and love them, too! And this popular leopard clutch is on backorder, but this one and this one just popped up.

Is there anything better than plaid season Fall?! I’m headed to NYC today to meet up with some of my blogger pals, and attend the Better Homes & Gardens Stylemaker Event. I’ll be posting fun behind-the-scenes of it all on my Instastory (make sure your app is updated to view the stories!), so follow along if you’d like!

You may have answered this question before, but just how far into Fall can you do white jeans? Thanks!

That puffer vest is so cute! I saw on the website that the pattern is actually printed in the fabric, not actually a woven herringbone. How do you like that and how has it worn? What size of vest did you order?

Mine is quite a bit older, and is a type of woven material. I linked this one bc it’s the ‘newer’ version (and also what’s available). I’ve seen it in person and think it’s completely adorable!! It’s actually a bit less pattern, so it’s even more versatile. I hope that helps! xo

Great, thank you! Do you wear XS in J Crew Factory vests? Do they run large like their shirts?
