Vuori on Vacation

Happy hump day, friends! How’s your week going so far? I must be getting old because I swear the time change is still kicking my booty! I’m sure it has nothing to do with my late-night reading habit, ha! I just can’t help myself … crawling into bed with a book is pretty much my favorite part of the day!

As you may recall, we were set to celebrate my 50th birthday in Mexico, but when our passports came up missing the night before … we had to pivot! Fortunately, the hotel let us keep the credit for a few months, and we were finally able to cash it in earlier this month.

Of course, my suitcase was full of sundresses and swimsuits (see my Vacation Essentials HERE), but Mr. Sugarplum and I always include a handful of Vuori favorites, as well! We both wear them on repeat for lounging and exploring, not to mention, the Performance Joggers are my go-to travel pant!

The One & Only Mandarina exceeded every expectation, from the service and grounds to the views and food. It’s definitely a splurge, but we felt spoiled and pampered from the moment we arrived, making it the perfect spot to celebrate 50!

Lounging beach-side is usually our activity of choice in Mexico, but this property was overflowing with fun activities! We zip lined, biked, did yoga, and even hiked up the mountain to see the 500-year-old ‘Abuela’ tree! Not to mention, the property is over 300 acres, so we did a lot of wandering. With so much to do, we both pretty much lived in Vuori everyday.

I brought a handful of Vuori pieces that easily mix-and-match, and wore them for the range of activities. The Clean Elevation Legging are buttery soft with a high-rise, and perfect for yoga and zip lining.

The Elevation Plyo Tank continues to be my go-to tank … I just love the high neck and built-in sports bra. I recently grabbed this new ‘Stormy Heather’ shade … it’s such a good blue/green!

Fit Tip: I’m a size Small in Vuori tops/bras, and size XS in the leggings.

You know Mr. SP is as Vuori-obsessed as I am … so no surprise it’s pretty much all he packed, too. He lived in the new Rise Tee, an incredibly-soft, high-quality cotton tee with a relaxed fit and pocket. He’s already requested other colors, and a second white tee since it’s now his go-to!

The Kore Short is pretty much the only shorts he wears, and thanks to the soft liner and quick-dry material, he even wore them as a swimsuit some days!

The Beacons Lifeguard Hat is a classic style with a comfortable fit and great sun protection … I love wearing it as much as he does!

Fit Tip: He’s a size Medium in all styles.

I may or may not have taken a shot of tequila before soaring across the jungle in an incredibly unflattering zip line harness. 😉 It was worth it, we had the best time!

Do you see why he’s already ordering more tees?! He wore The Rise Tee every single day! But I shouldn’t talk, I was the same with my Elevation Plyo Tank!

After a few amazing days, we headed back home … in Vuori, of course! I swapped my usual uniform of Performance Joggers for their brand-new Halo Straight Leg Pant, and ohemgee were they comfy! Same DreamKnit material, but with a wider leg. So cute, right?!
