Does this photo say ‘Joyful Summer’ or what?! Our neighbor at the lake has a wake boat, and he’s been taking us surfing for a few years… the kids, of course, mastered it right away. Me? Not so much.
They’ve been working on this trick for a few years, and it was so fun to see them nail it on our first weekend out. Now it officially feels like summer!

The Battle of the Carry-Ons //
My beloved Calpak roller bag finally bit the dust last fall (the wheel broke), and I did a ridiculous amount of research before choosing my next one… after all, we know how serious I take my carry-on bag! I chose the Béis Carry-On Expandable Roller, and have been beyond happy with it! It’s the largest allowable size for a carry-on, plus has really sturdy zippers and wheels, and a padded handle that makes me happier than it should.
I fully expect it to last me years (and years!), but it’s still pricey! So I started the hunt to find a more affordable option, and the Quince Expandable Roller checks all the boxes! It’s the largest allowable carry-on size, super lightweight, easy-rolling wheels, and $100 less! I actually used it for my recent trip and was fully impressed! (See what I packed in it HERE.

You know the Calpak Luka Duffle is my ride-or-die travel bag… it’s truly the Mary Poppins of personal bags! I’ve been traveling with the ‘regular’ size for years, but recently ordered the ‘large’ for comparison.
It’s not hugely different, and is really only about an inch larger than most airlines allow for a personal bag… so I’m guessing you could get away with it (as long as you don’t stuff it toooo full!). Either way, it would be a great weekender.

Sloan and I had the pleasure of attending a recent event with the skincare queen herself, Mrs. Colleen Rothschild! She invited us out to celebrate the launch of their new Renew and Replenish Clarifying Shampoo and Conditioner, which I’ve actually been using for about six weeks… and friends, it’s so good!!
Unlike most clarifying shampoos, it doesn’t leave my hair feeling stripped or dry, just gloriously clean! It clears out all the build-up, leaving hair so shiny and full. I use it about every 3-4 shampoos, and am hooked! And don’t forget that code CASSIE20 saves you 20%!
