So who has Look-for-Less Hunter Wellies on the way?! #me! I’m thrilled you guys loved the idea, and thanks for the tip about finding real Hunter boots at Costco! Fingers crossed for a wet Winter!
This year we’re spending Thanksgiving with some of my family in California (I shared about that forgiveness and blossoming relationship here), so we had Mr. SP’s parents over last weekend to celebrate early. My mother-in-law and I have a great arrangement…she does all the cooking, and I set the table. (Me and bird carcases are not a good mix.) I was feeling industrious, so I even threw in dessert.
I went with a colorful, yet glam vibe this year, using items I picked up from my Nate Berkus challenge. #namedropper Aren’t these lion place card holders so fun? Nate said they’ll be his go-to host gift this year. #firstnamebasisnow #toobadhedoesntknow
I found these mini-cake pedestals at Home Goods, and they had me at mini. And gold. They are perfect for, what else…mini pumpkin bundt cakes. The kids loved seeing dessert as part of the table when they sat down.
I forgot to tell them cake wasn’t the first course. Oh well, who can blame them?!
I love the pink, gold and black combo! I'm always the table setter and the cook (lots of wine involved). I went with gold and white this year (#ontheblog), and although I think it turned out beautifully, I NEED that gold flatware. It can be my Christmas gift to myself 🙂
i love the touches of gold! xo jillian – cornflake dreams
huge {{HUGS}} and so happy for you. I pray that this trip goes amazing for you and everyone. and the table looks FAB!
Love the bright colors Cassie 🙂
Well, I feel all sorts of festive after reading this post! GORGEOUS table!!!! My table setting is probably going to include all of the "kids" sitting at a card table in Grandmommy's bedroom. No, I'm not kidding. 🙂
Looks so fab and fun! I'm the tablesetter and the cook but luckily I'm not cooking everything. I'm hosting 31 people and everybody brings something…thank goodness!
Adore those lion placecards! So fun!
We are getting a Costco here in Oklahoma. Will have to be on the lookout for Hunters there as well!
What a beautiful table, Cassie. Love the marbleized runner!
We love "Nothing Bundt Cakes" here too. 🙂 Try the Cinnamon, and the white chocolate is amazing!
Your tables are really fun, I love that you weren't afraid to decorate with color. I love the mini cake stands, such a cute addition. And can we talk about those yummy looking cakes? All it did make me want to have a piece. 🙂 Thank you for sharing!
Love the place card holders! Your table looks fabulous!
