Hi Sugarplum!

Teen Styles with Athleta & Reebok

August 31, 2020

Happy Monday, friends, and welcome back to a new week. School is well underway now, and Little Miss is adjusting (sort of) to distance learning. They’re hoping to start a hybrid schedule after Labor Day, but the majority of her days will still be spent learning at home.

Which means her back-to-school style is quite different than year’s past. Leggings, shorts and comfy tops have replaced jeans and skirts, and honestly…she’s pretty excited about it!

To make her return to school feel special, I let her loose online to choose some new styles, and she headed straight to Athleta and Reebok. After all, she’s an athlete and practically lives in workout wear. She loves their sporty styles, which are cute and comfy for workouts or desk time.

Athleta offers both kid and teen sizes, and even the adults start at XXS, giving her a large selection. My little sports fashionista put together these fun and stylish combos…many of which are already her faves.

outfit 1: Comeback Tee | Record Breaker 3″ Short | Classic Leather Sneakers | Backpack
outfit 2: Head Start Hoodie | Stash Your Treasures Tight | Rainbow Leather Sneakers | Low Cut Socks
outfit 3: Power Up Tank | Swing Skort | Club C Sneakers | Got Your Back Bra
outfit 4: Cozy Cross Your Fingers Sweatshirt | Need For Speed 2.5″ Short | Nano Mesh Sneaker | Made to Move Face Masks

She’s most excited about the Athleta Girl Swing Skort, as it’s a new style for her…and apparently all the rage! She keeps her sneakers basic to go with a range of styles, and the Reebok’s Club C are her most-worn.

Y’all also raved over Athleta’s face masks, and you were absolutely right! She can actually exercise in their Made to Move Face Masks! We might not have had our typical back-to-school shopping trip this year, but she adapted and is excited for a more relaxed style.

What did back-to-school shopping look like in your house this year? If you have a sportster, I can’t recommend the quality and styles of Athleta and Reebok enough. Plus, Athleta Girl is offering 10% off full-price girls styles with code SCHOOL and free shipping and returns over $50, and Reebok is offering 40% off site wide + an additional 10% off full-price kids styles with code SHOPSTYLE!

Cute picks! And thanks for the Athleta code – I’ve never seen a code for Athleta #unicorn. Our teen BTS shopping consisted of a few tops from American Eagle and a request for more leggings. But maybe now that she’s on Google meets every day, maybe she’ll want some of these cute picks. Happy Monday!

There was recently a code (SECRETSALE) that worked for some items at Athleta, but apparently it wasn’t advertised? I heard about it on a blog! 😄 I got up to $10 off some sale items.

Teen style! I can wear this stuff too! : )
Teachers working extra hard, help in anyway you can, good people out there!
And I have one word for these kids working from home, lonely. Kids (and babies) were born to socialize. Best of luck to all.

Can I ask your daughter’s size in the Athleta tops and bottoms? My daughter is the same age as yours, and she is tall but tiny! I haven’t considered girl’s sizes for her. Thank you!

      She’s usually the XXS.
