Eyeshadow Tutorial + tarte Spring Steals Sale

Happy almost-weekend, friends! I’ve got an awesome sale for all my tarte-loving beauty junkies! Or for those that have yet to try this all-natural, clean brand, now is a great time because tarte is having a fun Spring Steals Sale, with prices starting at just $5!

I’m a long-time fan of tarte products… in fact, it makes up half my makeup cabinet! They’re known for their high pigment and incredible coverage (plus, the yummy smell!), but they’re also a clean, vegan, and cruelty-free brand made with high-performance naturals. The team at tarte formulates all of their products without parabens, phthalates, or sulfates.

So many favorites are on sale, including one of my go-to daily eyeshadow palettes… tartelette in bloom clay palette! It’s normally $39, but today and tomorrow only, you can grab it for just $25!

The cult-favorite tartelette in bloom clay palette contains 12 rosy and bronze shades for the lid, crease, and liner… and all are Amazonian-clay infused to prevent smudging. This palette was actually one of my first ever tarte purchases, after my dear friend and makeup pro, Suzie Moldavon, insisted it was a beauty must-have!

Hi Jaclyn! My brushes are just a mix and match of tools over time, so don’t have a go-to brand or anything! This set from Sephora is great though! xo, C

What is Amazonian Clay? Actual clay from the Amazon or one of it’s tributaries? Or just a brand name for the product? I’m just curious.

Hi Patricia! So I’m not entirely sure, and couldn’t come up with anything definitive after a quick Google search! It isn’t just a brand name though… I’m just not sure where the actual clay ingredients come from! xo,C

Can you share the brushes you use for your eyes? do you use the same type brush no matter where on the eye you are applying? Or do you have different brushes?

Hi Celesta! I have Sephora house brand brushes, and use a different brush for each color on my lids. One for lid, another for crease, and another for eyeliner and smudging. Each has a slightly different tip and bristle density for easier application! xo. C
