Summer Fun

Happy Monday, friends!! How was your weekend? We dropped Sloan at camp yesterday, so Mr. SP and I are getting a little taste of empty nest life this week.

It’s been nothing but sunshine and steamy days already, so Summer is definitely here and ready to stay! It’s truly my favorite season… the weather, the slower pace, the colorful styles… I love it all!

I was doing my usual internet surfing over the weekend, and some of the happiest finds I saw were found at JCPenney! Next thing I knew, I was down the rabbit hole of fashion, accessories, and home finds, and my list of top picks was long! I mean, hello… look at all these fun summer finds!

1. Beach Towel // 2. Palm Throw Pillow
3. Sleeveless Tie-Waist Dress // 4. Rattan Handled Serving Tray
5. Melamine Serving Utensils // 6. Faux Wrap Swimsuit
7. Cuisinart Snow Cone Maker // 8. Crossbody Bag
9. Tassel Throw Pillow // 10. Straw Hat
11. Straw Bag // 12. Cuisinart Ice Cream Maker
13. Square Sunglasses // 14. Slide Sandals

So many cute things, right? There is no shortage of summer and vacation fun at JCPenney right now! I spotted a few things that would look great at the Sugar Shack… basically the entire Patio & Outdoor Living category!

I’m also loving their Father’s Day gift section and their Patriotic Shop getting ready for the festivities. And I can’t forget to mention their Home & Decor section… almost every window treatment at our old house was from JCPenney!

And good news! This week, you can save 20% with code DADROCKS on select Father’s Day items just in time for Sunday! There’s also an extra 10% off items in several categories.

So tell me, are you a Summer girl like me, or are you already counting down the days until Fall, ha!?

*This post is created in collaboration with JCPenney and Collective Voice, but all product selections, opinions, and summer lovin’ are my own. Thank you for supporting Hi Sugarplum sponsors!*

I’m a summer lover, even though I was born in September and love pumpkin ice cream and pumpkin smoothies.

I’m working on my summer bucket list. So far, I’ve got eat cherries and strawberries, go to an art camp for grown ups in the mountains for a week with my sister, read, read, read, go to a street fair and jump in a lake.

I’m jealous of your sunshine! We’re on day three of morning drizzle and 60 degree temps here in San Diego. That ice cream maker is the best – even the little recipe booklet it comes with is amazing. I’m making homemade ice cream for Father’s Day and can’t wait!
