Sugarplum Style, Vol. 43

Welcome back to a new week! I hope you had a fabulous holiday weekend. We’ve got the kids home one more day, and there’s absolutely nothing on the agenda! I’ve got a busy week ahead, so I’m going to enjoy the peace while I can.

Today it’s time for another round of Sugarplum Style, snapshots of my everyday outfits I share on Instagram and Facebook, created by mixing and matching items in my closet. My hope is that they inspire you to stretch your wardrobe further by mixing up what you already have, and thoughtfully add new things.

I love the little sporty-spice touch the varsity stripes add to this basic (but crazy soft) tee. It comes in several combos, but I seem to be on the navy train lately. #seewhatIdidthere

The moment this top arrived, I squealed and starting pulling possible outfits together. Normal behavior, right?! Most things I order simply to review for Dressing Room Diaries, but this one is already hanging in my closet, and sure to be a Summer staple. Just wait until you see the sleeves!

What kind of blogger would I be if I didn’t pose in front of Dallas’s cutest new mural wall?! I mean, it’s like a requirement! #amIright?! Those colorful hearts, plus the chance to wear my all-time favorite racerback dress had me grinning like a dork, for sure.

I had a big LIVE Dressing Room Diaries session on my Instagram Story last weekend, and these were some of the favorite new finds. I’m sensing a theme here. I’ll have pics and full reviews for you here later this week! But spoiler alert, these dresses are gooooooood.

Don’t be fooled by Maggie Sugarplum’s aloofness…she’s just as smitten by my side-tie top as me! And another favorite pattern from Barrington’s new Summer line!!

These white jeans have been in heavy rotation, and launder beautifully! They do stretch a little after a few wears, but the dryer brings them right back. (See my full review in this post.)

I mean, seriously, how fun and cute is this top?! And surprisingly comfortable. The sleeves have stretchy elastic, so you have full range of motion in your arms without it feeling awkward.

Fit Tip: I sized up to a small for more length.

I can’t get enough of all the feminine touches this year…like this eyelet ruffle trim. Do note that this top isn’t a true white, but more of a creamy ivory color. It does come in other colors, as well though.
