Flirty Spring Tops & Easter Basket Treats

Hey there, friends… I’ve got a mixed bag of spring fun for you today, from flirty new tops to Easter Basket treats! Texas has gone from record-breaking winter storms to sunny and warm sandal season in a few short weeks! Who knows if it’s here to stay, but the little teaser this week has me ready for all things Spring!

I found a bevy (yep, a bevy) of darling spring tops, all super fun and flirty for the season. Pair them with your favorite light or white denim, and sneakers, flats or sandals, and you’ve got yourself a perfect spring uniform.

I’m super smitten with this first floral, and have worn it several times already. I love the bright colors and sassy fit of the deep v-neck, paired with the feminine details of the ruffle trim and puff sleeves. It’s a woven crepe material that easily dresses up or down.

These jeans have been on repeat lately (seriously, like four of the last five days!). They start out a little stiff and snug, but quickly become a second skin. I love the light wash and straighter leg.

Fit Tip: I’m wearing an XXS, which is a little more fitted in the arms than I prefer… so I’d say its TTS.

This puff sleeve top was a favorite last year, and I’m thrilled to see it back in a bunch of new colors… including this bright aqua. It’s a stretchy crepe that feels like a knit, with a darling ruffled neck and ruched sleeves.

Fit Tip: I’m wearing an XS

More feminine florals, this navy and white combo is so pretty and fresh. It has loose flutter sleeves, and a ruffled neckline. Made of a crepe material, it’s lightweight and easily dresses up or down.

After wearing the same white jeans for the last three years, it was time for an update, and so far I’m thrilled with these! Super stretchy with a high waist, they are a thick denim that keeps me covered and tucked in. Even better, the front pockets don’t show through!

Fit tip: I’m wearing an XXS

So many florals… all so fun, right?! This woven top has smocked shoulders with a slight puffed sleeve. It has a relaxed, flowy fit, and the deep v-neck keeps it from being too sweet.

Fit Tip: I’m wearing an XS, but could also size down.

This soft top is a basic tee with a twist! Made of a stretchy cotton blend, it has puffed sleeves with a twisted edge. It’s a slim fit, perfect for fuller skirts and trousers, too.

I practically live in jean shorts once Summer rolls around… and if you prefer a relaxed fit and longer inseam, these are your shorts!! So soft and comfy with a lot of stretch, they are a dark rinse with no distressing. They’re a girlfriend fit and run large, so definitely size down!

Fit Tip: I’m in an XS, but would prefer a Small for more room in the arms and across the chest, so I’d recommend sizing up.

Still easing in to color? This floral black and khaki print is for you! It has a delicate ruffle neckline and shoulder, with a sheer puff sleeve. Made of a woven crepe, it’s easily dressed up or down.

Fit Tip: I’m wearing an XS

Made of one of my favorite materials, this smooth and soft rayon challis top is so soft and easy to wear. It has a relaxed flutter sleeve and elastic neckline you can wear tied or open. Plus, it comes in a ton of great spring colors!

It may be spring, but I’m still living for comfy pullovers… and this boatneck is all kinds of soft and stretchy! I love the relaxed fit for pairing with sneakers or sandals.

Fit Tip: I’m wearing an XS, but it definitely runs big, so I’d size down one.

Spring also means Easter is around the corner, and I couldn’t help myself with all these darling treats for the littles and babes… just perfect for baskets. Speaking of baskets, how adorable are these?! I even found some fun finds for the teens.

For Babes: one. Musical Stuffed Bunny // two. Cardigan Sweater
three. Peter Rabbit Plate Set // four. Sock Rattle Set

For Littles: five. Crackling Bath Salts // six. Critters Play Set
seven. Sterling Silver Cross Charm Bracelet // eight. Personalized Easter Book

For Teen Girls: nine. Sequin Unicorn Pillow // ten. Color Block Flip Flops
eleven. Easter Candy Box // twelve. Kendra Scott Necklace and Earrings Set

For Guys: thirteen. Backpack // fourteen. Night Ball
fifteen. Long Charging Cord // sixteen. Hand Pomade

What pieces are you most excited to start wearing again soon? And what about Easter… do you create baskets and treats for your people?

    Hey Cassie!
Love your blog and your adorable family. I have read you for years and enjoyed so many of your recommendations. I am a 43 year old momma of 6 boys (7 if you count the hubs!) They are 20, 18, 16.5 year old twins, 15, and I am expecting a VERY huge surprise with #6 due next month!!! We are so excited!
Quick question about the backpack…I got that for the girlfriends and my nieces. Yikes! Did I do something wrong? I strictly thought it was girls’ fashion. Please tell me I did the right thing!
Thanks for always keeping things real! You are my go to every morning.

        Awesome!
Thanks for the reply. If I am being honest, it doesn’t look like a “boy backpack.” But what do I know…I am so outnumbered! Thanks for your nice wishes. Curious as to how it will be 15 years later. The boys are over the moon. Tons of Rice and UT gear filling up the nursery. All I can say is never say never!
