Okay friends, today we’re wrapping up Mother’s Day Week featuring my darling girl. Little Miss is one of her many nicknames, and one that stuck around here (remember when we referred to her as Babygirl?), but there’s no question she’s more of a young lady now.
This girl of mine is full of smiles, smarts, sass, and sensitivity. She loves to sing, paint, run, and play volleyball. She’s easy to please and quick to giggle. And she has a way of making me feel like her hero. We’ve always had an extremely close relationship, and I pray it continues through the teenage years. She pinky-promised me it would, anyway!

Remember this sweater from our last Dressing Room Diaries? I was smitten by the soft cotton, and light lavender hue, but it was the embroidered pineapple that hooked me.
I have the scalloped shorts in a few colors from last year, and was excited to grab them in white this year. They’re a relaxed linen-blend, and a great mid-weight for no sheerness. And on sale for under $25!!
Fit Tip: The sweater is true to size, I’m wearing an XS. I’m in a 2 in the shorts so they’ll sit lower on my hips and not hug.
