The upside of a growing blog (besides more online friends!) is lots of fun offers from companies and brands. I am very particular about the few I accept, and try to think of you guys, and if it’s entertaining or beneficial to you. Which usually means my family isn’t privy to the perks (my kids don’t get as excited about Pottery Barn as I do, go figure).
So when I got an offer to celebrate the upcoming NFL season at Buffalo Wild Wings, instead of thinking about you guys and how it relates to this blog, I thought about my family. I asked them if they’d like to invite friends out for a Wings Smorgasboard (aka, stuff your face with wings), and the answer was a very excited ‘YES!’
Let me preface by telling you I’m not a meat-on-the-bone kind of girl. I don’t eat fried chicken, you’ll never catch me chewing on a turkey leg at the State Fair, and the only wings I’ve had are really just chicken strips. Meat-on-a-stick, however, is totally and completely acceptable and encouraged.
So I went in to the experience thinking it was mostly about the kids and their friends, but ended up having a really great time. I was surprised to find a large beer menu (we loved the tall, ice cold Game Changer Beer on tap), plenty of boneless wings (easier for the little eaters), healthy options (like veggies and salads), TVs on every possible surface (the guys were happy), and even game tablets for the kids (which made it possible for the grown-ups to have uninterrupted conversations)!
I may have created a monster, because now they want to know where we’re going next! Are you a meat-on-the-bone or meat-on-a-stick kind of person? Thanks to my friends who were such good sports, and allowed me to take pictures of them shoving wings in their faces!

Being an Ohio State Alumni I am a full fledged BW3 devotee. My favorite is the Chipotle dry rub. I am a long time fan of the Mild and medium and there isn't anyone else that has a vinegar hot sauce like BW3 which is what they were called years ago in Ohio!
I want one of those soft pretzels immediately! They look SO good!
How fun! Looks like you guys had a great time!!
Those pretzel things look amazing!
Gah. My stomach just growled!!!
I have been a bone-in wing eater since the summer of 1987. Yes, I remember the year I was introduced to my favorite party food! I eat them HOT or HOTTER and I go through an embarrassing amount of blue cheese dressing. Thanks for making me want wings. 😛
Oh my gosh! How do I get signed up for this?! My husband and I LOVE wings and beer! They are actually opening a Buffalo Wild Wings 5 minutes from my house this fall. So excited!
We have several in our area. Love wings…just have to make them gluten free now. Great pictures!! LOL
Our family loves BWW. We love to get the queso dip and the boneless wings!
I LOVE BWW. My bf and I go there for most Sundays during football season.
Champagne Lifestyle on a Beer Budget
a BWW just opened up near us here in Canada. Sooooo good! I agree with the boneless for the younger kiddos.
Chris would be the happiest of all husbands if I willingly took him to eat wings. They are not my thing either, but the fries are a different story.
I'm not a meat on the bone type of gal either. Those wings look pretty tasty!! I'd probably use a knife and fork…I don't like to get messy when I eat! How fun your evening looked and your photos are fabulous.
All I can see are the eyelashes on your Babysirl. Seriously? Methinks she could spare a few for a eyelashelly-challenged gal like yours truly!
ahh good ole bw3's! we used to go to them a lot in college! loved their wings. yummy! sounds like you had a wonderful evening!
I love BWW. I was just there today for lunch. Boneless spicy garlic wings for me every time. I love the 99 cent kids meals on Wednesdays. My poor husband never gets to go since I always go with my girlfriends. I have never seen the game tablets. I need to ask about those next time we are there. I am bummed that BWW didn't offer a gift card giveaway for your readers.
