Happy Friday Eve, lovebugs, we’re almost to the finish line! I hope your week has been great.
Today I’m excited to share my latest Sephora Haul! Beauty, hair, and wellness have become popular topics here on Hi Sugarplum in recent years, and I’m thrilled you love chatting it up as much as me. I tend to stay extremely loyal to a product once I’ve fallen in love, but part of my job here is to find and share the latest and greatest… in both style and beauty.
So by popular request, Sephora Hauls have become a monthly series around here (see them all HERE), and I’m back this month with more… here’s the best of my Sephora finds lately.
And if you’re a beauty junkie like me, make sure you’re a Sephora Beauty Insider… they offer exclusive deals and sales, along with samples, rewards, and points with every purchase! This is how you gain access to their biggest sales, too! Sign-up is fast and free HERE!
Sidenote: I tried these products several times before sharing with you, so these aren’t just first impressions!

NARS Soft Matte Complete Foundation
NARS Soft Matte Complete Foundation //
First up, I was hearing rave reviews for this new NARS Soft Matte Complete Foundation, and considering I’m already a member of the NARS fan club, I couldn’t wait to try for myself! It’s a long wear foundation (a whopping 16 hours!) that helps balance oil, while also maintaining a hydrated finish.
I lean towards glowier, dewier foundations and cc creams, so I was expecting my skin to look flat and cakey. But instead, it still looked like my skin, but evened out with an airbrush finish. And the oil-absorbing powders helped keep my face less shiny throughout the day. And my highlighter provided the ‘glow’ I prefer for my makeup!
The product is thin, but full coverage, and little goes a long way. It sets fairly quickly, so I’d recommend applying it in smaller sections. Once the product sets, too, there’s very little rub-off, which is great for face masks!!
It comes in tons of shades for a perfect match, and even protects your skin against pollution and blue light. If you have oily skin, or prefer a smooth, powdery finish, this new foundation is a great option.

MAKE UP FOR EVER Rouge Artist Lipstick in ‘Cherry Muse’ //
I’ve been on the hunt for the perfect new red lip for Fall and holiday season, and this is by-far my favorite find so far! This MAKE UP FOR EVER Rouge Artist Lipstick is ultra-pigmented like a matte, but glides on easily with a pretty satin-finish.
It also provides all-day color, plus extra hydration. Most long-wearing lipsticks leave my lips dry and chapped by the end of the day, but not this one! The extra hydration of this creamy formula works to blur and smooth lips, too, creating a soft look.
The bright pinks , like ‘Dragonfruit,’ and ‘Edgy Marmalade‘ are really good, and ‘Cherry Muse‘ is the perfect cherry red with slight blue undertones. It’s a clear, pure red that makes teeth look whiter, and what I’ll be wearing this season!
Peace Out Pore Treatment Strips //
I’ve been using the Peace Out Acne Dots since reviewing them here months ago, and love how quickly they work to heal blemishes. So when I noticed more problem spots than usual on my chin (a repercussion of wearing face masks for long hours), I grabbed these Peace Out Pore Treatment Strips to help.
These two-in-one pore strips contain an absorptive technology to lift away dirt, excess sebum, and dead skin cells from within your pores. Once oil and impurities have been absorbed into the strip, vitamin A helps minimize and refine the appearance of pores.
So it’s clearing out the clogged pores, then minimizing the size of them! And unlike other pore strips, these don’t leave my skin feeling like it’s been ripped off. I get the best results when left on overnight.

Ready to Roll Brush Set //
I needed an upgrade on my makeup brushes, and after researching tons, I settled on this Sephora Collection Ready to Roll Brush Set (almost-perfect reviews!). The 10-pack brush set includes all the essential brushes for eyes, face, contouring and highlight…and they come in a handy roll that’s great for travel or storage.
The high-quality bristles are designed for ease of application without shedding and have soft-touch handles. They also have their purpose etched on the side, which is super helpful!
Benefit Cosmetics Gimme Brow //
When it comes to brow pencils, I love Anastasia Beverly Hills, and use them exclusively to draw in sparse spots and create more symmetrical brows. But Benefit’s Gimme Brow+ Volumizing Eyebrow Gel contains tiny microfibers that adhere to skin and brow hairs, creating actual natural-looking brow volume!
The custom tiny, tapered brush provides an easy, mess-proof application, and makes it easy to tame, tint, and volumize brows in just a few swipes! After using a pencil, I brush this gel through my brows for a uniform color (some of my brow hairs are significantly lighter than others) and set them in place.Â
The buildable formula is also water resistant and long wearing. This product is an Allure Best of Beauty award winner.
Okay, that’s it for this month’s Sephora Haul! Are any of these products already on your must-have list? What do you love that I should try next?Â
I also spotted this new this Must Haves Kit, a set of eight bestselling makeup products from NARS, Anastasia Beverly Hills, HUDA BEAUTY, and more…many of which are full-size…for less than the price of many single products!

The Peace Out Wrinkles is outstanding- my face GLOWS when I’m done with that product. I have bought about 6 boxes of it at this point. Highly suggest.
Oooh, I love the sound of that! Thanks for sharing! xo. C
Will you please give the details on your black shirt in the pictures? Thank you!
Yes ma’am, it’s an Amazon find! https://amzn.to/3066e7i
Thank you!!
I have more dry skin (not oily so would the bars matte foundation work for me or something else be better
I depends if you prefer the matte look over a dewier look! If you’re dry, the matte will show any flaking! I use Nars tinted moisturizer and It Cosmetics CC Cream most!
