For some reason, seeing yourself in pictures is a lot more eye-opening and enlightening than just looking in the mirror. That’s one good thing that’s come from doing these {Outfit Inspiration} posts…I’m learning what’s most flattering to my figure, because the camera doesn’t lie. I also discovered that I can’t do the thoughtful/pensive expression, because I just end up looking pissed off.
Today I realized what pitiful posture I have! I can practically hear my mom saying, ‘Stand up straight!’ So picture me now with my shoulders pinned back, mmmkay?
My posture and squinty, watery eyes are mostly a result of the cold wind that was assaulting us. But these camo jeans have been a staple for me all season, so I wanted to share them with you. I’ve worn them with polka dots (seen here) and stripes (here), but this fitted jean jacket (another must-have staple!) is my go-to. Basically this whole patterned jean/scarf/wedge bootie is my weekend uniform.
To me, camo was something hunters and military wore, so I was surprised at how feminine and versatile they’ve been.
Have you ventured into patterned jeans? Would you try camo? Do you want me to create a post showing how versatile camo jeans are?
So cute, you tiny thing!
Hope you have room for a new best friend, because you have one now! 😉
omg i love the camo with everything else in the outfit! Great look!

Love…you always put together such cute stuff!!
Thank you, sweets!! Loved your mood board on Sheaffer's blog today!
Love this outfit! I got these camo jeans awhile back after you mentioned them in an earlier post. I debated and waffled for a bit b/c I wasn't sure how versatile they would be but I have worn the heck out of them during Fall & Winter! They are super comfy & fit great (even on my curvy figure). Seeing them with the pink & denim jacket makes me realize they should take me right through Spring, too 🙂 Your fashion posts are always inspiring!
Glad you love them, too!!
P.S. Just saw in my email that the similar camo pants you linked to at Old Navy are actually just $10 in stores only and today only (Wed. 3/19)!
We are all our own worst critics. You are adorable and I love the outfit!
love the color combo!! those pants are so cute. xo jillian – cornflake dreams
I bought pink camo pants a month ago from Gap! They are super cute, but since I purchased them online I bought the wrong size. :/ More incentive to lose some weight! Love the look Cassie, you always look beautiful.
Mine actually stretch out quite a bit…so wear them around the house and see if that helps! xo
Girlfriend you can rock anything! I am not one for printed bottoms-no need drawing even more attention to this booty!! LOL
I seriously love, love, love olive and pink! (I also love navy and pink) You nailed this color combo!
Cute outfit! I think you wear everything beautifully Cassie!
Thank you so much, sweet Allison!
I would love a post on styling camo pants!
So cute! I love the combo and the scarf. I would definitely do camo pants now. Great inspiration rooms, too!
Ok fashionista, tell me how you feel about the pink camo? You are rocking those pants and I need them!
I think the pink could be cute if you toughened them up a bit with a denim or military jacket. Nothing too sweet on the top.
Yes please do!! I love everything you've done with them so far!
Super cute Cassie!
You always look darling!
If pictures tell the truth, then they are saying that you are a hot, skinnnnnay thing! I love love love your outfit posts… keep em coming! I need ideas for work!
You made my day…thanks Rhonda!! xo
I love this look Cassie. Camo and denim just work, ya know. I was in the military for 6 years and swore off camo for the rest of my life, but these jeans just may make the cut. Great outfit and great inspiration. You know else Im loving right now..camo and pastels. Soft blues, yellows and lilacs look amazing with camo.
I love everything about this outfit! Too bad for me…I look horrible in camo pants, believe me , I've tried. 🙁
