A Festive NYE at Home!

Hey hey, friends! I hope your week is off to a great start! My sweatpants streak started yesterday, and something tells me it will run through at least Friday. At least with these joggers, I look like I made a small attempt of pulling myself together, ha!

The annual battle has also begun in our house… me wanting to take all the Christmas decor down, and Mr. SP insisting it stays well in to January! Which team are you on? As much as I love the twinkly lights of Christmas, I’d have an elf pack it all up Christmas night if I could!

I added these tree storage bags and wreath bags to our organization last year, and they were game-changers! They are lightweight, but sturdy and waterproof, and so easy to pack the tree away for another year. This year I ordered this ornament boxย and gift wrap organizerย and already I feel more accomplished!

But now that Christmas is over, it’s time to turn our attention to New Year’s Eve, which is only a few days away. We don’t have any big plans, but we still like to make it fun and festive at home. I rounded up some great essentials, and all on Prime so they’ll hopefully arrive just in time!

New Year’s Eve at Home //

one. Tall ‘2022’ Balloons // two. Sequin Party Top
three. Buzzed Blocks Game // four. Bartender Kit
five. ‘Happy New Year’ Headbands // six. Champagne Flutes
seven. Paper Plates & Napkins Pack // eight. Photo Booth Props
nine. Epic Charcuterie Board Set // ten. Confetti Cannons
eleven. Remote Controlled Disco Lights // twelve. Gold Votives
thirteen. Taco Cat Goat Cheese Pizza Card Game // fourteen. Bingo Cards

What are your plans for New Year’s Eve? Little Miss has a volleyball tournament bright and early New Year’s Day, so we might not even make it to the ball drop!

Oh We definitely leave all Christmas up until into the new year!! Then when the mood strikes me it all comes down! Itโ€™s a lot of work so I like to enjoy it โ€ฆ it goes up mid November and will come down probably by the end of the first full week in January.

We didn’t put up a Christmas tree this year, so decorating was minimal. I chose to decorate “winter”, rather than “Christmas”. All I’m doing is subtracting anything red and leaving the rest up through January.

Patricia now that is a super smart idea!!!! I like the notion of decorating for “winter” instead of specific holidays! xo, C
