Neutral Styles | Camel & Black

Today’s Neutral Style outfit combines camel with black, and is more work-appropriate than the previous two, but still fun enough for the everyday. In fact, a quick swap from heels to booties like these, and it’s weekend-casual.

The skinny black jeans balance out the thick layers on top, but you could easily trade them for black trousers if your office is more conservative.

Style Tip: A collared shirt layered under a turtleneck sweater is unexpected, and the popped collar gives it a bit of attitude. Cuff the sleeves and pull the hem out so it’s more visible, too.

Clutches and small cross body bags are great for weekends and date night, but I prefer a bigger bag like this one for work. (See it here.)

  1. Love the series! I would never have thought to put a collared shirt under a turtleneck sweater but I love the look! Thanks for all of your creative style inspiration!

  3. Those pumps are everything! And…I haven't been able to decide on a color for my short nails, I'm digging the red!

  4. You can rock any outfit but now I understand why you choose brights: they represent who you are so much better. Pretty as these outfits are they don't feel like "you". A spunky gal needs spunky clothes.

On another note, kudos to your special photographer. He's capturing great shots. And what a nice way to spend time with your son.
