{One Room Challenge} The Master Bedroom Reveal

Thanks for the good chat yesterday on scarves…I’m thrilled you were excited to learn my method for tying them. And a huge thank you for continuing to vote for me in Redbook’s Real Women Style Awards…I still can’t believe I’m a Top 25 finalist! #pinchme Don’t forget, you can vote daily from every device! #hinthint (Go here to vote…no sign-up necessary!)

Now let’s get to the matter at hand…the reason you’re all here today! Is it {One Room Challenge} reveal day, or Christmas…because frankly, I can’t tell the difference right now! I’m so beyond excited to share our new room with you…and even more excited to curl up with a cup of wine…I mean coffee, did I say wine? (it’s been a crazy 6 weeks!)…and check out the other 19 participant’s rooms today, and all the linking participants tomorrow. It’s going to be inspiration and eye-candy overload this week, and I can’t wait!

Let’s do a quick recap for those just popping in, or who blacked out….we recently moved, so I had a whole house of rooms from which to choose for the ORC, but Mr. SP and I decided to put ourselves first this time (as opposed to last, like our previous home)…so I tackled our Master Bedroom!

Week One I showed the Before shots and room dimensions…and Week Two was all about the Design and Floor Plan. At Week Three, I revealed our crossover to the dark side, and I was thrilled
to hear ya’ll loved the dark walls as much we do! Mr. UPS Man was busy delivering nightstands, pillows, and new bedding in Week Four, and finally, last week we hung the drapes. Kind of.

Whew! But all that led to a room I can’t believe I get to call mine. Well, and Mr. SP’s. I guess I’ll share it with him. How about I stop yapping and show you the room? Prepare for picture-palooza…

It’s been a fun six weeks, with a few hiccups and hurdles, but to come out the other side with the bedroom of our dreams, has been a spectacular experience. Thank you, Linda, for creating this challenge, and inviting me to be a part of it!

Making over a room in six short weeks is pretty much bananas, but if it weren’t for The Challenge, it’d surely be 2018 before we got it done! Thanks for following along on this ride with me, and all your encouragement along the way. Be sure to check back next Wednesday for a full Source List and exclusive discounts to ‘Shop My Room.’ #nowIsleep

Update: See the full {Source List} here.

Right now mine are up with some cheap rods and connectors. They're meant for a bay window, but aren't all that pretty. I saw in your previous post that your hubby had to custom cut the rods. I was hoping you had found some super secret simple fix lol. Bay windows are lovely, but such a pain as you either have to diy rods and connectors or pay a lot for a nicer solution.
