I jumped on the 2016 trend and went digging through the blog archives… and wow, that year really was a moment. It feels like yesterday and a lifetime ago all at once. The blanket scarves and skinny jeans, the memories and blind excitement — scrolling through these photos instantly took me back to a special season of life.
So why is everyone suddenly going back to 2016? I think it’s because sometimes looking back can feel better than constantly looking forward. Maybe we’re craving that simpler, more playful digital energy. Or maybe we just miss the freedom of posting without overthinking every detail. Whatever the reason — nostalgia is officially having a moment. And I’m here for it.

Gurl! All of these looks still look/work great today! Oh, that lace/black/sleeveless dress. Drooling. And luved how you mixed up colors/patterns-still cool! But there was one dress, many years ago from you, I could kick myself for not getting- Easter/Spring, halter/navy/floral/fit/flare-ish. Do u still have it?? Can u send it to me? ha,ha. xoxoxo.
Haha, I’m not sure about the halter dress, but I def still have the black lace fit and flare!! Not sure it would fit, but I have it! 😉
I can’t believe how many of those outfits I had after your wonderful influence. I really loved some of them and wish we could still wear today.
Some of these styles you just can’t buy anywhere anymore, but I wish we could!!!!!
