When does the Gibson x Hi Sugarplum Resort 2020 Collection launch?
We’ll launch this newest Collection Tuesday, January 21 at 5am CST… just two short weeks away! So start brainstorming vacation destinations for Spring Break and beyond, we’ve got your wardrobe covered!
What exactly does Resort Collection mean?
Think breezy fabrics, statement prints, and sunny pieces. Basically, everything you need for a warm-weather getaway! In fact, we designed it as a capsule wardrobe that packs easily, and is versatile enough to mix-and-match for day to night. Just add a swimsuit and hat, and you’re all set!
Where will I be able to shop the Collection?
The Collection will be available exclusively online at Nordstrom.com! On launch day, I’ll be sharing the full Gibson x Hi Sugarplum Resort 2020 Collection here on the blog, along with fit tips and detailed descriptions to help you navigate the pieces, and determine the best size for you. What inspired this Resort 2020 Collection?
My love of color and travel runs deep, and I love weaving that in the clothes I wear. The Resort 2020 Collection was inspired by the colorful coast of the Italian Riviera…classic blues, vibrant pinks, and punchy reds, all in the chicest prints and patterns! The pieces are designed to mix and match as sets or as separates, perfect for all your sunny days and travels.
What’s different about this Collection?
We listen closely to your feedback and are constantly working hard to make the Collections fit your needs. This new Resort 2020 Collection has the great style you love so much, but with even more luxurious fabrics. We paid careful consideration to every fabric selection, and I assure you they feel incredible on!! You’ll want to live in every single piece!
We also adjusted the fit in skirts and dresses to include our taller friends, and expanded the offering for Plus! Just another reason you’ll want to use my post on January 21 as your guide, to ensure your best fit.
What sizes will be available?
I’m thrilled to announce this new Resort 2020 Collection will be size inclusive! The pieces will be available in a range of sizes from XXS Petite to 3X. We are passionate about all women being able to wear the Gibson x Hi Sugarplum Collections, so a range of sizing was extremely important to us. We paid special attention to the individual cut and fit for the petite, plus, and regular sizes.
Where will you ship?
Thanks to our partnership with Nordstrom, the entire Resort 2020 Collection will ship internationally! And United States friends will receive free shipping and returns!
What’s the price range?
You know budget-friendly pieces are my jam, so the majority of the Collection is under $60! The quality is incredible, and we created pieces that are not only fun, but classic and timeless, so you’ll be adding new wardrobe staples with your Gibson x Hi Sugarplum Resort pieces.
What type of pieces are included?
Without giving too much away, it is a true capsule wardrobe of virtually everything you need for a warm weather getaway (or Summer at home)! Whether it’s a quick weekend or longer vacation, the Resort Collection is all you need to pack!
It will include dresses and skirts, tees and tops, rompers and shorts, plus an incredible bodysuit you’ll want in every color! The pieces are incredibly versatile, and easily transition from lounging by the pool to sunset drinks. And of course it’s all full of cheery colors, patterns, and feminine details! #sugarplumstyle
Did you design the clothes?
My involvement grows with each new Collection, as I learn more about fabrics and fit from the Gibson team…and listen to what you need and want. So much goes in to each Collection, from studying trends to creating fabrics. We spend months perfecting the cut and fit of each piece, tweaking the colors and patterns…basically getting everything exactly right, and always with you in mind! (This is the reason for all my trips to LA!)
This Resort 2020 Collection brings together my Sugarplum style, and Gibson’s expertise in design, fabric, and fit, and I could not be more proud and excited for what we created!!
Will there be more Gibson x Hi Sugarplum Collections?
Yes ma’am…we’ve got big plans for this year! I couldn’t be more excited for 2020 and what’s to come!
