Great Stays | NoMad Hotel Los Angeles

Today we’re landing in London for a quick overnight stay, before boarding the Royal Princess tomorrow. There’s no question it’s been a busy few weeks, with lots of airport time and hotels.

But one of the best parts of travel (besides the experiences and memories made), is the inspiration that comes from seeing new places. Last week’s trip to LA was for an exciting project I’ll be able to reveal soon, and also came with a surprise source of major inspiration…my hotel!

I chose the NoMad Hotel Los Angeles for it’s close proximity to my meetings, but my jaw never left the floor for my entire 24-hour stay.

It only opened earlier this year, but since it’s in a restored building from the early 1920s, it’s full of character, and old-world charm. (It used to house the Bank of Italy.) Rich textiles, a regal color palette, and all original artwork mingle with modern touches like pedestal bathtubs, luxury bedding, and top-notch food (and cappuccinos!).

I was surprised by downtown LA, too…so many great spots within walking distance, and a short 30-minute drive from the airport.

It’s the kind of place you want to hole up and explore every corner for several days with your hubby or best friends! I made the most of my quick 24-hours and left feeling so inspired…especially for all things pink and green, with a hefty dose of palm!

inspired by pink and green
Palm Tree Print  //  Palm Print Sandal (on sale!)  //  Pink Clutch  //  Palm Print Romper
Lace Midi Dress  //  Palm Print Wrap Cami  //  V-Neck Tee (7 colors!)
Lace Bralette  //  Palm Prin Weekender Bag

What’s the most stylish hotel you’ve ever stayed in? Let me know so I can add it to my bucket list!

Wow, that hotel is gorgeous! My favorite hotel, and definitely a good one to add to your bucket list is Hotel Villino in Lindau, Germany. The restaurant is Michelin rated too. Everything about it is incredible. Can’t wait to hear where you’re heading on your cruise!

Beautiful hotel! I love the wall lights beside the bed. Everything is “Art Deco”. I love that style. I just may have lived in the wrong era..lol..As for hotels, hubby and I have stayed in a great many hotels over the years all over thee world. None terribly luxurious as we can never justify spending mega amounts of money for a just a place to sleep. We’d rather put that money towards the travelling and touring around, rather than the accommodations. With that said, I would say that the Rex Hotel in Ho Chi Min City in Vietnam was nice, mostly just for the historical significance of it. It the location of the Five O’Clock Follies, a name used by journalists to describe controversial military press briefings held here during the Vietnam War. The rooftop bar was a popular hangout for military officials and war correspondents.

It’s a beautiful hotel, but I always like to know if a post is sponsored in some form.

Hi Mary! I always disclose if a post is sponsored, and this one is in no way sponsored. I found and paid for the hotel on my own (as I do most travel, with the exception of the Princess Cruises). I shared this one in particular since I was so surprised & inspired by it. I hope you enjoyed it!
